Het them heat cycled and a light shave at a tire rack type place. Better yet buy from them, they offer both services and depending on the tire they will recommend one or the other

Awesome numbers! I’ll be on the dyno here soon to see what it does on 93, but the nt555r2s are about 100 bucks cheaper and perform just as welling seems. They are less noisy also. Leaving off idle or right above it around 1000 rpm has been the best with everything completely off and ofcourse a good tire.

I replaced my R888R's with NT555R2's and I got a better 60' with the 555's and seems to hook really well if you give them a proper burn out before a launch. @@thatrealcarguy Nice! You'll be good for plenty more power in a roll racing fashion too. Probably the best 60' you could expect with them is about a 1.6-7 sec. with a good burn out and good launch. Get yourself a Dragy and go practice if you don't have one already. Really the only way you can get even more launching traction is to go to a 17" wheel and run a full on slick like a Mickey Thomson.

I went to order these nittos and it gave me an option for the second set of numbers, 102W, 104w, all the way up, I didn’t know which to order? From what I can tell that rating is for speed? I’m not sure

Interesting, I have a fbo ss and daily nitto nt05rs on a 17" wheel and they are just terrible...This might be my next move 🧐

The new NT555r2s are much better than the older nt05rs definitely consider them!
