Awesome video gunny. No BS booth spraying but Raw home garage video spraying. This is what it is about as most guys do not have access to a paint booth.
These garage jobs have definatly grabbed my attention gunny! More related to me, painting in my shed haha. So yea i feel i'm taking in more of your techniques this way. Nice work!
I love waking up at 7am Great Britain time before work and watching your work keeps me focused on my projects ( vw bug) . Fantastic work man. Much love ❤
Progressing well there Gunny, it's great to see you do this type of work at home as it gives us DIY painters something to aspire to, it's going to be a bit dusty sanding the primer but you have good extraction which will help, looking forward to the next one 👏🙏👍
@@TheGunmanChannel I'm looking to build a garage to paint in at home so your videos are a great help . Will you be doing a review on the iwata series 2 at some point because no one seems to have done one yet but then again I'm not much of a fan of any other painters on RUclips anyway so I'm looking forward to yours 👍🏻
I’ve tryed few times to message you when see the candy paint one.you so need to get Houseof kolor candy as you put it down same as base colour.so can do no end of coats a there not a massive build up of paint like have with concentrate candy in the lacquer.
Really have learned a lot watching your videos. Thanks much for taking the time to educate an amature painter like myself. Was wondering who makes the plastic pouring spout you attached to the hardener and reducer(?). Looks like a very handy thing to have and wouldn't mind getting a couple for myself.
Great work once again.. have you used a primer called resto finish. I'm also using a Chicago hush 70 air compressor what primer gun would be suit for high build at home.
I'm trying to do a refinish job of a roof spoiler for my car that's the clear coat peeling. Color is black and i only have acrylic white primer in a can that in instructions says it's only for metal, wood, aluminum, glass and stone. Can i use this white acrylic primer after i sand original paint that the clear coat peeling or do i need to get a primer specific for plastic and darker color? I'm trying to find plastic primers but i only see adhesion promoter sprays for raw bumpers.
Good video mate. Im getting into DIY painting but my first job I couldn’t even start. I started to spray 2k primer and it didn’t even come out properly. It was like grey arm hair falling onto the panel. Discovered later I have a 1.4mm tip but apparently need 1.8 minimum for high build primer. Does this sound right if all other factors were correct such as psi and gun controls. Thanks!. Also a mk5 golf like the one in the video !
@@TheGunmanChannel thanks bud ! it was very gloopy. Obv too thick to come out the nozzle? I added 10% thinners but obv need more. Will be trying again soon thanks 🙏🏻
@@TheGunmanChannel that’s fine. I’ve just bought a brand new unpainted wing/fender so don’t think I would need much build anyhoo. Will let you know will be painting over the weekend. Cheers 🙌🏻

@@TheGunmanChannel nice a reply after 9 years lol I know you got skills. I got your skills now thanks I am a fan that’s for sure . I never painted as a job . But I have been skilled by you and my mentors 4 of them 30 years each experience

Just curious if you have any guidance for me. I want to do a cheaper respray but I want it to last. Wondering what products you’d recommend. I was looking at HAMR coatings, someone told me use concepts paint. Otherwise my next best bet is getting sikens from work for a bit cheaper

Great to see the home shop videos, my garage is larger but still a challenge this time of the year in Canada! Exhaust fan sucks all my heat out lol!

Omg dude that dog ❤️
Nice work gunny, cant wait for that compressor review. Thanks
Gunman loving the garage series would like to see more content on making the garage in to a home booth keep up the good work mate

If you look at Project Bumble Bee, that’s me gunnie doing my TVR in my garage
I've had a costumer as me what a 1 to 1 was before.

For such a tight, awkward space, that looks real good. :-)
It is a small place but just workable.
Gunny I'd bet you could lay down paint with a super soaker water gun and it would look like glass
What was that cleaner you used on the gun at the end of the video? 🍁(from Canada)
Was that the 3M gun cleaner? I can't recall the part number.
