I was put on Ozempic (the lowest dose 2X/week) for type 2 diabetes way back when it first came out. My primary care doctor is from Mayo Clinic. With every injection I had abdominal cramps for a half hour or so. It gave me loose stools. At the 2 year mark, the diarrhea was 8-10 times a day to the point I couldn't even go for a walk and I never ate anything beforehand if I had to go to the store, etc. Finally, I was getting so sick, my doctor ordered a colonoscopy and they found I had ulcerative colitis. I stopped the Ozempic immediately. I continued not being able to eat different foods and so went in for another colonoscopy. The ulcers were gone, but my digestive system was so messed up, I ended up only being able to eat a handful of foods. That was 3 years ago and I'm still suffering. I take Seed probiotic/prebiotics to help with the diarrhea. I no longer eat dairy, fried foods, gluten, red meat (I can only tolerate plain chicken breasts), follow a low FODMAP diet, no raw vegetables. It's ridiculous. Anyone who will listen, I tell them, please don't take any medication that changes your digestive system. The digestive system is so imperative for the rest of your body to work correctly and it isn't worth the risk. I'm still trying to reintroduce foods back into my diet but haven't been very successful. I am still under the supervision of gastroenterologists.
What you describe resonate with the critical points the doctor at the channel Idaho Bariatric and Metabolic Institute. He claim it being a signalsubstance rather than a hormone. And that many of the obese people have high levels of glp1. So the problem seem not to be a lack of it but rather they have a problem of resistance. The same kind of problem that make it problematic to treat type 2 diabetics are prescribed insulin, which tend to gradually worsen their conditions.
@@johannas.l.brushane2518 Luckily my change of diet no longer requires medication for diabetes and I am considered pre-diabetic again with quarterly A1Cs now at 5.4
It's so crazy how some people have severe symptoms and some have none at all.
For now....
More and more people are saying it causes depression and anxiety, this sounds so scary please everyone take care 😢
You’re nota alone! I did it for a month and I had the worst experience. Fatigue to the max, chest pains, short of breath going up the stairs, irritability, depressed feelings, body aches, insomnia, bitter taste in my mouth constantly, nausea, basically at my wit’s end! .25 milligrams left me out of wack! This is not for me, and I’m better off with intermittent fasting to help go through menopause. Thank you for bringing it up! 😘
Look into biote hormone replacement therapy. It’s amazing.
I had exactly the same experience. I only lasted 3 weeks and couldn’t take the feeling.
@@chastitylee5227me too. How long before you felt better?

Call me crazy, but in a few years, I foresee late night legal advertisements about this medication. Definitely not enough studies with regard to prescibing this to non-diabetics in my opinion.
You are not crazy because they are talking about Ozempic causing thyroid cancer in animals and warning people to tell their doctor if they feel lumps in their neck.
Agree, there are alreadycases of extreme rebound weight gain
But don't they warn people about the side effects, so do they still have a case if they've been warned?
I had thyroid cancer, they took the whole thyroid out. My endocrinologist gave ozempic to me to try out.
Sounds pretty based to me.
Not only celebrities but a lot of famous influencers are doing this. Thank you for being transparent.
I just found your channel and am so grateful for your openness! I’ve been on Ozempic for 3 weeks and the depression is UNREAL. Scary unreal! Yes, I’ve lost 6 pounds in three weeks but this isn’t worth it to me. Thank you💕
Shes Not lying. Exercise is so hard. Your so tired. The fatigue is so hard to deal with. I have been so week. I also feel its effected my eyesite, which no one is talking about. But my Dr. Said patients around the globe are also complaining about blurred vision. Its defenantly Not a cure all. For sure! Ty 4 sharing!❤
Blood sugar impacts eyesight. Diabetics can lose their vision. So you are in an imbalance and need to adjust to get to the right levels of insulins. Your doctor not knowing this is scary.
Blurred vision can be caused by diabetes and also the liver struggling. Your liver has to metabolise drugs and things, if on a health kick you could be also taking a lot of vitamins which needs processed also
Recently information has emerged about blindness as a result - an extreme and rare side effect - of ozempic use
I'm glad you're sharing with people because this is all over the place. Everyone is talking about it.
I've been on all 3 medications only one work for me I've lost 70 lbs.
I’m not sure what she’s saying but I’ve been on the medication and it works great. She seems all over the place with this video. I didn’t have the hard time with it as she said she did. I have a little bit of nausea. So did she like it or did it ruin her life?!?!? I’m lost
@@lorim3b357 She's saying it worked but there were some adverse reactions that she didn't expect to happen to her. We're all made differently I was only on it for 4 months and only lost about 5 pounds. I didn't experience what she did but she lost 55 pounds. She experienced fatigue I couldn't close my eyes for anything I was wide awake I couldn't sleep.
She lost 25 kg which is 55 pounds
But yes with all the side effects you have to decide if it’s worth it
I have a client who lost her hair! Because if you’re not eating your hair is not getting nutrition!!😢
You definitely have to eat on this obviously starving yourself is going to lead to weight loss and hair loss, but that is not the way to do it and it sure isn’t the way I did it
Some people do lose hair during weight loss. They need to supplement with Biotin. As for energy, Semaglutide is known to deplete one of B12, so it is important to be taking that. This will assist with energy.
Also if you look at life cycle of hair you have to go back at least three months to see what you were doing then.

Thank you for being so vulnerable and truthful with your experience. I don't see how anyone could hate you for that. You are a beautiful , kind soul and I loved learning from your story.
Putting yourself out there with such intimate topics isnt easy. Your very much appreciated for sharing your experience and being so open. This takes allot of courage and your awesome for that!
Wow you should way more story times! You can talk so well and you are so smart. There is so much more behind the perfume content I would like to know. You are fab ☺️👋🏻🌟
Oh thank you!
Thank you Paulina for being so open and honest with your experience ❤I’m very grateful for your honesty thank you for being you !!
Thank you so much!!
Paulina. You are brave for speaking publicly about your health. I think you are a very sincere and honest person and I have a great appreciation of that. You are beautiful outside as well as inside. I appreciate your content. Take care and cheers!
I love how transparent you are sweetheart and you don’t even have to be this way. 🌹 Keep being you!!!! 🥰
Thank you so much for being so open about your experience. It helps me feel like my side effects haven’t all been in my head. Your vulnerability is so refreshing!
This drug seems to be the trending weight loss method/curiosity for/of so many & I’m glad you’ve shed some light, and shared your experience with it. It definitely seems like something you wouldn’t want to mess around with for long; so I sure hope you can part ways with taking it soon & that you’re left with no regrets.
Very informative video and I think it will help many people. Sorry you went through such a rough time but hope it’s getting better for you. Oh, and your makeup looks beautiful! Love this look!
Miss Paulina, you are brave and courageous to share your story. I am struggling with some physical/mental health issues myself at the moment. It is SO important for us to understand that they are intertwined. Thank you also for emphasizing how important it is to have faith and confidence in your medical providers.
go to the gym set some goals! These are known since forever to have an impact on both aspects...
Thank you Paulina for your honesty as usual. I am a diabetic with heart disease in family and am on ozempic. I lost 18 pounds in 2 months. Slower than your weight loss but my sugar levels are starting to get in control. I also experience fatigue but thankfully no nausea which is strange. I wish you luck with your health and you look so beautiful as always. By the way love the mixing of silver and gold I thought I was the only one who did that! 😊
Thank you Paulina for sharing your experience truth and being so vulnerable. I love it & respect it. I pray you are doing lovely. I just had to send you love for this and say thank you🥰. You are awesome ❤️
Thank you for sharing your experiences. You’re definitely helping someone. ❤
Thank you for being so open and honest about your experience.
I am so glad you mentioned mental health. Now I know this drug is not for me. Thank you.
That was very nice of you to put up your experience.
I’m actually really GLAD that you opened up about this topic and were so honest and vulnerable. I think it paints a realistic picture of what many people do experience using this drug, and considering how little the public knows about it, this is super helpful. I doing think it came across as promoting it at all. I know that for me, as someone who is very much overweight but who struggles with depression, anemia, and severe gastrointestinal issues, I could never try Ozempic because it would be too dangerous for me. But I could see how someone without my health issues could benefit from it. Thank you for your openness and honesty!
Very nicely done.Thank you very much for being so forthcoming & thorough.
Very interesting. Hope you feel better and I am glad to hear your experiences.
You look amazing as always my fellow Polish princess! Thank you for sharing your experience. The blood type diet has helped so much with insulin resistance, but I have never taken this mediation.
Thank for honesty! Good stuff!❤
Thank you for sharing! I have loved all of your vidoes, you are so relatable. Beautiful, and you have class, and most importantly you are real- about life in general. 💕
Thank You for this video & I also think you look so pretty with the way you did your makeup here too!
Thanks for sharing Paulina !! It is really appreciated ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Never been interested in ozempic, but still watching the video because I feel like we are friends. 🥰
Thanks for sharing. I've missed you. You look radiant. Your life experiences will defeat you or make you a stronger & wiser person. Be blessed & have a good life. 💓🙏
Thank you for sharing. Spoken so well & very informative.
I don’t watch your videos for quite a long time and girl you look amazing! Especially the eyebrows! In relation to the medication, hope everything will come back to normal (the body takes time to adjust) ❤
Ever since I started Ozempic I'm always depressed and hopeless. Basically I don't have a zest for life anymore
Are you taking it for diabetes?
Have you reported it to the drug company? When I called them, they took this very seriously. I hope you're feeling better.
Thank you for sharing and I hope this video stays up so that other people can hear about your experience. There is a lot of mystery and misinformation on this. Wish you the best and btw you are so cute without makeup 😊
Thanks for helping others this need to be talked about 😢. Nothing is worth someone mental wellbeing
To be honest, after watching this video, i cannot but say that i admire you much more than i did before as i reckon that for you to come to the fore and speak so frankly on this subject, you proof to be so brave!! All my support, for being so honest and open about this problem , which inam also suffering fron. Take care, luv!!!!!xox
You look amazing! Thanks for sharing your experience.😊
Very informative. Thank you for sharing the pros and cons.
This was such a powerful story. Thank you for sharing. That is no way to live.
Hello, you're very brave for sharing your experience with us. Thank you, and I wish you good health and all the best in life.
Paulina…I struggle with the same diagnosis you have. I began Mounjaro in January, and I am now down 55 pounds. However, I also have mental health issues and have taken medication for years, as well as counseling. I have also had a decline in my mental health since taking the medication 😢. I would say it’s getting better…but 🤷🏻♀️. I guess the benefits have outweighed the mental health side effects. I see my doctor for my mental health often…so, they are monitoring me. Proud of you sweet girl! Keep your head up…keep going. You look fantastic, but, even more you feel better. I have also gotten off my blood pressure meds because of this medication…🤷🏻♀️. I am continuing to take it…so hopefully it stays in the positive direction for us both.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😘😘
Hope you're better 🩷 I feel like nothing is worth the price of my mental health personally. I'd never take it
Keep taking care of yourself. I am an attorney who specializes in disability law and health law, on behalf of many of my clients, thank you. Good news... my Kind Intentions is on its way home already!
great storytelling . thanks for all the details 🙏
Chapeau, Paulina, for your courage to film pre-make up and sharing a difficult health journey.... 🙏
I also wanna add thank you for sharing your experience. Weight loss is not easy this isn't a quick fix and you're letting people know. Hey this doesn't work for everybody and it's OK.❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing your story with us
I also noticed that your make up changed and I think it's beautiful. You are looking wonderful Paulina... Thank you for this information and your experience...
Thanks! Good on you, this is a PSA! I wondered why this became so ubiquitous and people need to know it's not a joke to put chemicals in your body unless it's to save your life. Re: your last comment, you are a beautiful lady who looks good with or without your skilled application of makeup.
Love your long videos
Gracias por compartir tu experiencia ❤❤😘 es importante escuchar lo bueno y lo malo del proceso 🙏🙏🙏
Great video! And you look great!
Congratulations for speak your truth 💯 🌹
Thank you! So much for sharing your experience with this medication. I have experienced similar side effects. I also have lost some weight, and it's helping my diabetes. So again thank you for sharing with us❤
Paulina ❤ Bless your Heart!!! Thank you so much for this video.👏👏👏 Your the best.
You are so welcome!
Interesting.. my experience was completely different than yours. I was on it for 7 months. Loose 35 pounds, no side effects. They were so mild, I didn’t even notice them. My period in fact was so regular, that never happened to me. My period was all over the place my whole life! So.. I guess it’s all depends, and really personal for everyone.
Thank you for sharing!
From all my heart THANK YOU!
Your transparency on this topic is refreshing. Thank you. I have family members considering this medication. I personally don’t think it’s worth the risk.
Thanks for this ❤
I felt exactly like you! It ruined my life for a whole year and a half. Never again for me. The side effect were not worth it to me.
Did weight come back when you discontinued it?
Thank you for your honesty.
Thank you for your candor.
Hi Paulina, thank you very much for being so brave and sharing such a personal and vulnerable experience... Congratulations on your weight loss and improvement in your health! Have the side effects become less and more tolerable the longer you are taking it, or are they the same? Do you know what will happen once you stop taking it? Thanks
Yes, I have heard the negatives about it from my BFF who happens to be a physician. She will not give to anyone for weight loss. She warned me about it a few months ago.
Thanks for your honest feedback! Really appreciated!
You look great :) I wish you all the best 💜
I was one and done! One injection and i was sooo sick I could barely stand. So weak, nausea, Diarra, weakness, dehydrated. Etc etc. It can cause way worse symptoms too.
Did you report this to the drug company? I called them with my side affects and they were very interested. Sorry you had to go through that.
Also what a great video, thanks!
You are a beautiful soul!
I hardly recognized you, I was wondering these past months about you because haven’t seen you on you r channel. I missed your signature opening greeting hello my darling, my beautiful cherry pies ….. wish you more power and please stay as you are naturally 😊🙏🍀❤️
As a physician I would not recommend this drug unless one seriously needs it to survive as there are a lot of side effects and being a fairly new drug, we do not know all the long-term side effects which seem pretty serious but not enough data. Unless you are morbidly obese you are not going to die faster than any drug even then many overweight people are actually healthy though I must stress that it is best to be at a heathy weight. Having said all that, I commend you and appreciate your honesty and not encouraging people to take this drug. That says a lot about who you are. Honesty is hard so good for you and do not change that as it is a very rare great quality and you sure have that.👋
No you are not
Thank you so much for sharing your experience and being so open about it! As with many drugs, they will affect everyone differently. I was on Ozempic for 20 weeks and now Wegovy 18 weeks. Yes I've had the headaches, nausea, but they have been manageable. I started at 268 pounds and now 218 and still going. Now, for the nausea I take Zofran and it helps so much, the headaches only come when I don't eat enough, my menstrual is still here but instead of 7 days I go 4. Other than that. I absolutely love it and am so grateful for my Dr prescribing it to me. I have 50 more pounds to go. Im sorry the medicine didn't work for you😢. Im glad you at least took a chance.

Thank you so so much for this very informative video. Even I was so tempted to use it. I am a diabetic recently diagnosed. Love from India ❤❤
Thanks for this informative video. Bless
First time of heard of this drug. Thanks for educating us and for sharing your story ❤
you look amazing with less makeup. so youthfull
I appreciate you sharing your journey using this medicine Pauline❤
Thank you for sharing. I have friends who are thinking about using it, but not before I show them your video. It’s important to share personal stories especially if the story helps someone!
Thanks for sharing your experience ❤❤You were probably weak with workouts and also tired a lot because you weren’t eating enough as I am sure you know. I hope you are feeling better 😊
Well I think you look AMAZING! ❤
I’m sorry that you’ve felt so terrible!! Especially the mental health.. that is so hard 😢 Are you still taking it now or did you have to stop?
I’m going to watch your Zara videos now, they are in my watch later playlist 🥰🥰 You are one of the reason I started posting my own perfume videos ❤ Lots of love 💕 xo
I’ve been watching your perfume videos but never subscribed…. This video here sealed the deal.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I hope you didn't get any hateful comments.
Paulina, thank you so much for sharing your story! Human beings are so complex, and we are all different. Maybe the “majority” of people can tolerate this drug, but there are so many who cannot. My doc has tried so many diabetes drugs on me, but I haven’t been able to tolerate them. Either they give me kidney problems or exacerbate my major depression. Can’t spend another day feeling suicidal. Diet change not working. My meds that are 100% necessary cause weight gain. Still hoping for the right answer.
Also, for those of you out there that are too young to remember the “phen-fen” diet craze, look it up. Yes, it worked, yes there were lawsuits, yes there were deaths, yes it was taken off the market, in 1995. Ozempic may also be too good to be true.
I really appreciate your approach to this. You addressed some topics I hadn't considered, but would be very important to making an informed decision about taking the drug. And I love fragrance, so I'll be sticking around 😊
Thank you for shariing 😊
I really appreciate you putting it out there, I've been on it for well over a year now, on it to better balance my blood sugar levels, but also lost 56 lbs. But the journey is a hard one....the side effects for me have been horrendous, unbelievable vomiting and diarrhea, uncontrollable...it ruined the Christmas weekend, and I stopped it for a while, started it again today, I did speak to my diabetes. Nurse, so we decided to restart me on the .25mg dose....was fine to start with...then the side effects were intolerable, so I stopped it after Christmas, started it again today because I want better blood sugar results, and of course it gave me a boost losing weight....l am now afraid of taking it....and afraid of not taking it....I wish you all the very best.❤
It really depends of the person some don’t have any problems with it ! I am on Tirzepatide am doing well although I heard it’s a better option than Ozempic but also many other people are on Ozempic are doing well. I am sorry for your bad experience it’s probably not for everyone!
Thank you for the wonderful info I do appreciate it so much ❤and yes you look so beautiful thank you again sending love💞
Thank you, learnt from this video.
I am insulin resistance too and I was thinking to take this type of injections but I am concerned now. Thank you for sharing just believe that you saved someone ❤
I appreciate this girl’s vulnerability and experience however she is just one person. I take compound Monjauro/Zepbound and it has been an absolute godsend for me! The research shows that these GLP-1s help substantially with so many things, and in my support groups people are having amazing experiences. Many of the serious side effects the media keeps hyping up are rare and many are ones that are more common and mostly avoidable with causation of not doing certain things. Just my own experience and hearing hundreds of others in my online and telemed groups.
Thank you for this video
I appreciate your input as I was considering ozempic due to being an insulin resistant hypoglycemic. I know, lucky me🙄
