I lost my mom to glioblastoma on 3/26/2020 and while I miss her terribly, I found Jesus soon after. He saved me on so many levels, in so many ways. I’ve struggled to understand, why did it take losing my mom to find Jesus? I wonder if maybe that was the only way I ever would have? My mom’s faith, hope, strength, determination, perseverance, positive attitude and PEACE all throughout such an indescribable storm made me decide that I wanted what she had. It’s been an incredible journey to say the least.
God is good, there is a purpose for everything that happens to us, keep trusting in the Lord, call upon Jesus name when you feel like given up 🙏

My 27 year old Shane passed in my arms March 7, 2020. Without Jesus I would not have been here still.. praise our Lord! And Shane accepted Jesus into his heart the day before he passed away !

I listen to every video on RUclips I can find of Lisa Harper preaching. I ran across one of her sermons one day and fell in love with her and Missy's story of adoption and loved her method of preaching. I'm 25 yrs old, I've had 8miscarriages and several surgeries. The fact that she waited so long and kept faith in God for her family gives me so much hope. Also Go Vols!!!!! I live two hrs south of Nashville.!!!
Last year was the worst year, hubby passed away in August with delta covid, no goodbyes, no hospital visits, just an emptiness to deal with, just have to deal with the loss. Thank goodness God is my life saver for ever until...Hope is all we have to hang onto.

My daughter Deja 24 when she passed away from an asthma attack just over 18 months ago. Deja would be turning 26 tomorrow and to say the least I have felt a bit hopeless lately. I miss her so much and I’ll never understand why, but I do look forward to our reunion one day.

I stumbled across one of your sermons three weeks ago and oh my goodness... the Holy Spirit just spoke to me on that day in such a way that I cried (and I'm not a teary person) and since then I've spent almost 8 hours a day watching sermon after sermon. Thanks so much for being brutally honest whilst making the Bible relevant to both the biblical times and today's mad world. You're amazing. sometimes i just feel like the bible is boring but when i listen to someone preach, it becomes more interesting and fun and i actually learn something that i would not have learned by myself.

You cannot help but love Lisa Harper. So real, genuine and not afraid to be vulnerable.
My mother died December 4th (age 76), My older sister (age 52) died 4 months later, 2 months after that my baby sister (32) she left behind 3 kids, ages 3, 6 &9.(state came in and separated them all), a few weeks later my aunt died (76), then 5 weeks later my brother (44). I am a widow on top of that. I am sick with wrought. AND consider myself a modern day JOB. I am in SOME AREA!!! PRAISE GOD MY ABBA FATHER! Shall I praise HIM when It only shines its sun...or shall I praise HIM also in the torrential rains with no comfort. I cannot and will not believe GOD is not in all of this on my behalf somehow, EVEN if not to change me and mold me and make me into the image HE so desires. HIS will not mine be done! I await the Promised land and the return of my sparkle. He will provide.
He knows about your loneliness, your tears, your heartbreak. You are not alone. The God of miracles is right there with you.

Lisa, how you inspire me. Your honesty, your humility, and your understanding of that beautiful love story that we call The Holy Bible, all come together and help to feed this thirst for knowledge that grows within me every day. This Bible that I would once have described as complicated and hard to understand has, over the past few years, become a solid rock upon which I stand. It is the answer to every question I have ever had, or ever will have, the solution to every problem, the comfort I seek when my world is dark and my heart is broken, and the joy I feel when I am filled with gratitude for the abundant blessings my Lord has given me. For so many of my 75 years on this earth I have struggled to be “good enough” to be loved by such an awesome God, only to finally come to a place of understanding and acceptance of God’s grace. This understanding has come, partly, through listening to you and to women like you share your stories with women like me - women who have NEVER doubted Gods existence, but have always doubted that God could love someone like me. Throughout my life I have been told that I was unworthy. As the only one of six children who was adopted by my daddy, I grew up feeling that I was different; that I didn’t fit in, and that I was not wanted or accepted as simply “one of the kids.” I was so lonely and desperately wanted to be loved. But I wasn’t. I am convinced that people who are made to feel that they are undeserving of love grow up to become adults who don’t know how to accept love from others. I know I did. I don’t mean to sound as if I’ve been stuck on a pity potty all my life and that nothing good has ever happened to me. I have always been blessed. God has always put people in my life who seemed to sense what I needed in my life at the time and who did their best to fill the voids inside me. Teachers, friends and their parents, Sunday School and Training Union teachers, adults whose children I babysat, and others will never know what their concern and love meant to me or how big a part they played in the shaping of who I am today. I believe all these people were sent to me by a loving God, to serve a specific purpose, much like He directed me to you and your teachings. I think God gives each of us certain talents - gifts, if you will, and that He expects us to use those gifts for the good of others. And we may never know how (or even “if”) this has an effect on anyone. You should know that your teaching has had a profound effect on me. Before I hit the “play” button, I always ask God to help me to hear the message He has for me. And He does. I am loving reading and studying Gods word today. I have an understanding of scripture that is deeper than what I have ever had. And my relationship with Jesus is growing every day. I thank you for the part you have played in that.

Great sermon, very educated. Adam and Eve is a whole sermon in itself. Hope is what we need tho. The way to do that is to care for others. To be intimate with someone. Doesn't have to be sexual, just be present and listen. That's how I find my hope, is by listening to other's struggles, comforting them and in return knowing that I CAN and I WILL get through this. Perfect timing for this message because last night I prayed people would reach out to me, despite the years I've dedicated my life to others. God answers, just not always in our timing. He is faithful and He loves us unconditionally. May the mainstream learn to do the same. Amen

Absolutely... magnificent...message. My goodness. Ms. Harper knew how to get the word across to reach me and keep me engaged. Some of the verses I used to think about in the wrong way, she cleared up. I thoroughly enjoyed the message but more than that I have a better understanding of hope and God's love for me and His redemptive power in the midst of my mistakes and past. No matter what the enemy brings our way or trips us up with, we are seated with Jesus Christ in heavenly places... places of honour. I will always pursue God because He loved me even before I knew He ever existed.

Ms. Lisa, I've lost 2 dear friends in this awful time but I'm holding on to my faith! One from the virus, the other unknown! One was a believer, the other I'm not sure. I should know because he was my neighbor for 5 years. He knew I was saved, but unfortunately I never asked him if he was. I did blame myself for a while but a good friend from church talked with me to comfort me over the situation. Thank you for all that you do, to spread God's word and love in world.

Wow… When I posted my first comment it was only after watching 7:54, then I reluctantly watched. I am truly grateful that I did. That was an amazing message. So many people could look at my life and never understand why I praise God the way I do, but if you only knew my story you would understand my praise. TO GOD BE THE GLORY. He gets all the honor, glory and praise.
