I had my AK at the range one time and this older gentleman was telling me about his AK. About how it was his father in law's and he would always try to buy it and he never could. Before he passed away he said he could have it and that meant a lot to this guy. Well when he left a few minutes later I noticed he left his AK there. I love and enjoy some of my family air loom firearms dating back 100+ years ago. One of witch came from the Hatfield side , of the Hatfield and McCoys. I lost a very special uncle about 4 yeas ago to cancer, before he passed he gave me his first and favorite handgun be bought in 1983 . I was with him when be bought it and fired it for the first time, I have very vivid memories about that day, makes me smile when I shoot it now, bitter sweet kinda.

He had a hideout.25 cal. pistol for his boot that I never knew about, a leftover from his days as a State Trooper. My younger brother grabbed the gun, I kept the ammo as he didn't have a license and was reckless with firearms. I kept my distance from him measured in miles. Very cool family heirloom Hickock, I like it a lot. My mother-in-law has a hawes single action revolver in .22 Magnum. It's a great little shooter for an inexpensive gun, even back in the day. Unfortunately the gun brought up bad memories for my mother-in-law because it was held to her head by her alcoholic ex-husband back in the 80's. It took her a while to bring it out and show it to me the gun, but I was able to take it home and clean it up and make it safe to shoot. Eventually she overcame the bad memories attached to the gun and she shoots it regularly now. I had to explain to her it's not the firearms fault but the person behind it. Thanks again Hickock for all the years of great gun content!
hickok sunday shoot-a-round is always entertaining! I live in a medium size city. I would rather trade for more space out in the country where I can shoot in my back yard!

Hello, H45. Happy to hear from you today. My grandpa is sick, yesterday I drove down just outside of Mountain City, TN to buy some fireworks. It is one of the few things that makes him laugh. Beautiful state you live in. Those type of fireworks are illegal back in VA.
Listening to you talk about TN and seeing you walk through the woods reminds me of my youth. I was born in DC, but moved to Bluefield, WV to live with my grandparents the month Kennedy was assassinated. We lived outside of town on 40 acres. I played in the woods constantly, had a pony and a dog, and loved every minute of it. No cable, internet, or video games. I had imagination and the woods. Live in Georgia now in a small town.
I like other gun channels but some of them get too crazy with editing. Hickok45 is just the real deal straight up with no fancy editing or BS and that’s one thing I truly love about his channel. I feel like I can relate to him more than other channels. Sootch00 is my second favorite but, Hickok45 is the king of gun channels no doubt.

Flew up to Tennessee for my brother's wedding and fell in love with the beauty of its landscape also checked out the Smokey mountains wow talk about a Christmas postcard like view . I didn't want to leave. Maybe if I'm lucky enough to live that long I wouldn't mind retirement there.
I know what you mean about gunsmiths. When I lived in Dallas I took my Ruger American to a really good gunsmith to get a scope mounted. It took 6 months to get it back, so I missed that deer season. Last year I took my Mom's old Remington model 12 to have some repairs completed and get it completely refinished. It took 9 months to get it back; but, it was worth the wait. It must be nice to have a 6 month backlog of work when you are a very good reputable gunsmith.
It is 6:10 am man. Awake because of insomnia and the Wuhan. Was about to try and close my eyes, then Hickok happened. Guess I will get a coffee and grab a dirty gun to clean. The nerve! LOL. Stay safe and hang on to your rights!
I don't usually watch these but I did find it entertaining and informative! I usually want to see your gun evaluations, and related videos such as the holster videos you did, and an update of that series would probably be well received since there are changes going on in that area. Keep up the good work you are one of my most treasured channels! Gabby

Man I love your conversations and just attitude and humor. You are my Spirit Guide!
I live out in the country. And we shoot on my property ALL THE TIME. God bless America.
The ones that moved away from my rural area are the ones that keep telling us we need to change
Thank you for bringing your fathers gun out I really enjoyed seeing you even though it malfunction
I’ve been spending more time on the ranch shooting during the last few weeks. And I’m enjoying it immensely.
Could you possibly be near Castroville Texas?
Scott S. About 5 miles south
This guy talks so much sense, he should be considered a mentor to us all.
almost 5 million lets go you came such a long way keep pushing people show him love subscribe
Hello, H45. Happy to hear from you today. My grandpa is sick, yesterday I drove down just outside of Mountain City, TN to buy some fireworks. It is one of the few things that makes him laugh. Beautiful state you live in. Those type of fireworks are illegal back in VA.
Raised in southern california....we are now located in midwest....we love it
Nothing more American than a Colt 45 revolver!!!! Beautiful pistol.
I have to say I have learned a lot from watching you your videos are always good to watch keep up the good job mr Hickok45
I lived in CHICAGO for many years. I have been to LA and NY. I’m from TEXAS Originally and I LOVE Living in the Country.
THANK GOD I’m A
COUNTRY BOY
I remember the old “radio show” working the action and people trying to guess the firearm. The channel was so young but hasn’t changed
Well You Sir are the BEST Tennessee person in my opinion 👏 You are a Mentor, a Historian, a Icon, a LEGEND 👏 God bless You ✝️🇺🇸✝️ 👍 Thumbs up 👍 Like 👍 👏
Flew up to Tennessee for my brother's wedding and fell in love with the beauty of its landscape also checked out the Smokey mountains wow talk about a Christmas postcard like view . I didn't want to leave. Maybe if I'm lucky enough to live that long I wouldn't mind retirement there.
I’m in Virginia right beside you, keep up being a badass man I love your videos
One of the problems with being short is that they're the last ones to know it's raining! :)
I like your sound, I work in Television production and the ambient sound allows me to feel like I am back in the country again.
Always a pleasure listening to you. Thank you for the video! God Bless!
TENNESSEAN BY CHOICE!! ...My hero BUFORD PUSSER!! HOOAH!
77Infidel research magnesium glycinate for the insomnia. It might be worth a look. Take care bubba.
@@kenycharles8600 Thank you much. Sleep habit is screwy, which cant be good for the longterm. I appreciate your comcern!
Same thing here. I just cannot sleep anymore. I was going to bed around 9:30pm before this virus. Anyways, goodluck to you.
😂😂 I just switched to night shift it's okay now
That’s a good idea, might have to become a new tradition
what of the greatest sunday shoot-a-rounds so far! the rambling is awesome!
You got to love how sweet Hickok is he is like every older person just staying on a totally unrelated topic
I don't usually watch these but I did find it entertaining and informative! I usually want to see your gun evaluations, and related videos such as the holster videos you did, and an update of that series would probably be well received since there are changes going on in that area. Keep up the good work you are one of my most treasured channels!
Gabby
Another great Sunday with Hickok45, shootin' the breeze. You have to get some troll silhouette targets on the range. These trolls always drop by and give you a thumbs down. Really, if they have a problem with you, they're a troll of the worst kind. Keep up the awesome videos and stay safe, we need you.
I look forward to every Sunday to see your next video, they help get me through this lockdown so thank you. Also if it is not too much trouble, could you do a video of the Pennsylvania/Kentucky long rifle please.
Born and raised in a small, lill town in North-East Texas, called “New York” (don’t tell no one), now live in Central Texas and love it, give me some space (land) leave me be with my guns and dogs, I’ll be a happy camper. 🤙🏼❤️🤠 God Bless Texas & America 🤠
Got any hogs that need removing? Running low on pork from the last time I was down there.
Steve B Na, doing good, helps with my “moving target” practice 😜👍🏼🤠
Always enjoy your videos very informative and your dry humor adds to it, always learn something new on each video, and your correct on everyone's from Tennessee, Maury County To be exact!! All seniors will agree to be in that category if they have an indoor range and take SS CHECKS for ammo sales!!
Guns, philosophy and shooting lore...great keep it coming !
Hickok, weather says it was low 40* in middle Tennessee early this a.m. and you are outside wearing a long sleeve tee shirt!I would be shivering!
Hello from Sweden 🙋♂️🇸🇪
Lived in Clarksville Tennessee my last 4 years in the Army. Loved it and started to stay when I got out.
I love the long videos , I appreciate the informational aspect of the videos .
Loved that he talked about "To Kill a Mockingbird"!!! One of my faves of all time! This man can shoot like that, and talk about great American literature! Wow! Hickock45 for Prez! Got my vote!
Appreciate y’all from Texas ^^
Another informative shoot-a-round , I was able to finish a pot of coffee this time have a good week be safe always😁😁👍👍
I always enjoy your shooting. I have hand tremors so I don't do lots of good target shooting these days. I still carry my LCP II. Keep up the good work, you are getting me through this insanity.
I love your attitude towards life! I live in east TN by choice. ...Art
Carry on and stay safe Hickok45
