You know, we went back and forth on it over and over whether to include it in the test, but ultimately decided to not due to its availability and price. At the time we couldn't source a single Riing Quad 140, only the 3-pack which is still a staggering $163 on Amazon. I see now you can pick up a single for $45. I'm (Rich) really on the fence about how to include TT's fan products, at a minimum you HAVE to have a controller to power the fan, let alone control it's RGB. And while yes, you do need a Lighting Node Core for the QL140's RGB lighting, it at least has a PWM connector to run the fan. That being said, we appreciate hearing you'd like to have had it included - feedback like this is really valuable to us! We don't want to make decisions in a vacuum, and we want to test products you wanna see. So thank you for letting us know!
@@2GuysTek thanks for the reply! Yeah it's pretty crazy how much these fans cost. I'm considering getting them but the price is what's holding me back. Also obviously the software looks like it's from the 90s
@@2GuysTek Your reply is understandable, I own a case with 13 Riing Trio fans in it, main reasons to get them was imo they looked the prettiest when they were out "when I bought it the Quads were not out", single cable from each fan and long enough to rout it how you want, and I like that the software allows you to control RGB + RPM modes. That said, main negative part in my opinion is that the 120mm selection can only be bought in packs of 3, I have 2 extra fans but are used in a different build since I have an additional controller. Hope Thermaltake would send it's product to you guys to include it for the review. Lastly, from a long time user of Thermaltake products, I see only 1 downside to the Riing Quad fans, the leds ring on the edges is not from both sides like the Riing Trio, hence I do believe the Riing Trio is better in that regard. Keep up the good work, wish you success.
The Silverstone fan looks ugly. I blame the shroud. As for the grill, that is actually the defining feature of their AP series. I only know of 2 brands who made focused flow fans having fins behind the fan blades: Silverstone with their AP series and Noctua with the NF-F12. I recall seeing smoke tests with these fans where it shows how effective they are at keeping a tight cone of air they blow behind the fans.
We specifically chose A-RGB fans because the ability to individually control the RGB elements is far better than the older 4-pin 12v RGB lighting which only allows control of the entire strip at a time. Addressable RGB lighting allows you to completely customize your lighting down to the individual RGB element to get precisely the look you want. Thanks for watching!
The Corsair QL140 look so amazing! RGB on fan and Ring and the middle part looks classy! If only they didn`t have one of the worst RGB softwares out there..
So out of the fans in the above video i still believe that the best is Noctua NF-A12x25 fan(ruclips.net/video/nbZ15TnA3FQ/видео.html) from 2019. I havent seen any get even close to that.

show all fans together for 30 sec for looks comparison , like this frame 10:06
Why these are all 3 pin argb.. whilist every mobo nowdays comes with 4 pin rgb headers :/

You can buy a A-RGB Controller for 12$ on ebay
hi nice video, please review Zalman SF140A3 in the next video thanks
We'll add it to the list!
I would've bought Corsair but this proprietary argb plug bs is unbearable. It's either Corsairs full ecosystem or a single fan with its own hub
You guys should do the GAMDIAS AEOLUS M2 1204R there so good for the price
👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for watching!
Silverstone is still stuck in the late 2000s.
👍
Nice!
Your missing the cooler master 140....bros wtf
Corsairs connector aint propoertary
The Corsair QL140 look so amazing! RGB on fan and Ring and the middle part looks classy!
If only they didn`t have one of the worst RGB softwares out there..
And cost an arm and a leg per fan lol

Watch reviews of Phanteks T30. Best fan hands down.
