As a person starting up, this video is extremely important. The few videos that I've made I've had in the back of my mind that my "studio" is not setup to be a space that I want to put out there publicly. It's what I have, but it's limiting my creativity. I'm in a basement that is very clearly used as a storage space, its dark, and there is stuff everywhere. I'm going to get to work on cleaning up this space and setting up some cloth or something to section off this space and make it look nicer. I'm also in a challenging space where the lights from my reef tank can really mess with my shots and i'm trying to figure out how to overcome that. I tried making a video last night and realized that my face is so dark compared to anything else. I desperately needed this, thank you!

Thanks Jeven. Your humble, transparent approach is realistic and educational. As a noob/struggling/low-confidence creator, I find many of the other big creators a bit strong on the 'tude. Definitely worth every view.
My work is filmed outdoors, so I am trying to find the correlation of light here and outdoors. The sun is never at an angle that behooves the point/subject I am trying to showcase.

Finally got my room to where I can have 3 different shots. I have an "at the desk" shot, a black backdrop with one small LED to light behind me and a couch setup. Good stuff!

Dude! You have no idea how useful this video was! I'm moving house and I'm looking to buy a garden office pod and I had no idea how to get started designing my studio but now you've given me some great direction! I will like natural light but find it easier to create a good look using artificial light. Thanks for making this video. Would love to see more like this!

I know this sounds like a dumb question but: my space is in an older building so, how many electrical outlets do I need to have, total? Im not knowledgeable about ‘load’, so I dont know how many power cords I can plug into an ‘outlet’(?) Thank you - so this would be for: all lighting, all equipment - ie microphone, headphones, tv/monitor, 2 computers, soundboard, camera (chargeable) and anything I should have but am missing, on this list. - I realize that most things that are chargeable/holds battery power’, can be charged in a nearby room. So, what is a) number of essential ‘power outlets’ in ‘studio room’, at minimum; and, b) number of ‘power outlets” required in studio, in an ideal situation. - if using studio full-time(dont think that matters, but, I’m asking b/c, I’m learning.) Thank you to anyone who can advise me from their experiences.

I've been watching a lot of videos on studio tours and I think this is one of the best - mainly because you're explaining your thought process and reasons for doing what you're doing. Much more insightful than the typical studio tour where they seem to show more of their A7S3 and 300D than the how and why they designed their studio. Thanks!

This was a killer breakdown of your RUclips studio, I appreciate it!
Love how you showed the different angles, so we could see the entire room/studio/different angles. Also, how the lighting can make such a significant impact.
I have been relying on natural light for too long, and this video is proof that lighting can make all the difference in the world. Love the LED color lights, and such an affordable option to really add some "coolness" to the studio.

I hit like on this video just off the insight alone even though there was much more. Its funny I knew soon as I saw that picture on that sliding mirror door it had to be one of those on Amazon or couple other sites that have them because ive been looking at them for a minute but wasn't sure how good they would look in real life but now I know its A+ for sure and going to have to pull the trigger on one of those I saw. Anyways appreciate the video keep them coming mean time I will check out some of your others you have posted.
