I must also say that Roger Taylor is definitely one of the best rock drummer’s and John Deacon is absolutely one of my favorite bass players

When Brian May said Aretha Franklin was the inspiration for somebody to Love....and that Freddie admired her....then pauses and says Freddie would have liked to be Aretha he thought.....I laughed and thought of how many people wanted to be Freddie.

Exactly what I thought. Also from watching a lot of footage I've got a feeling that John was a humble man, while Brian and Roger seem to be a bit full of themselves.

From what I read he was quiet, after freddie died he was so affected by it that he wanted nothing to do with music anymore and just lives a humble life with his family.
I think he said that because he is talking about a time before John joined Queen. They tried a few bassists before finding John.

I was a teen during this time. I thought nothing of why they were called Queen I just love them!!
So very interesting. Thank goodness for the movie Bohemia Rhapsody . I was so very unaware of this band . (even though I am Freddie's age!) Too busy with life. All I knew was the songs I heard on my car radio driving too and from work. Never having a clue of who sang my favorites. Never went to rock concerts. Had many gay male friends in the late 60's from my community theater days . One who I knew all the way to his recent death (COPD - ) How I would have loved knowing about Freddie Mercury sooner. He was so much like some of the very special people in my life .

No volveran a haber canciones como las de freedie ni tampoco una voz tan particular y afinada ,Freedie ,Robert Plant , Ozzy y Glen Hugges son las voces Inglesas que marcaron la música .
jejje ese look de melenas largas jamas que regresaron me imagio la nostalgia de los integrantes al recordar esos buenos momentos unicos y que jamas regresaran...fredy se atrevio a llevar aspectos del ballet del teatro la opera y rock a su publico y eso lo hizo leyenda aunque la.prensa estupida no entendiera lo original lo nuevo

The movie is not meant to be a documentary. If you wanna watch a Queen documentary, then this would be it.

the movie should have a big disclaimer "THIS IS FICTION, DON'T TAKE IT AS THE REAL HISTORY OF FREDDIE OR QUEEN".
I don't think it's ok to change things when doing a movie about real persons and real history. it's one thing to do whatever you want with fictional characters, but when it's the life of a real person the real history should be respected.
@@pelgervampireduck It wasn't fiction. Roger and Brian were very much hands on the project, approving everything. They didn't change things that much, only altered a few tiny details and the timeline to fit the movie. I don't understand the fuss about it. Again, it wasn't meant to be a documentary. It's a biopic.
the stuff they changed was pretty big, like the year freddie got diagnosed with aids, or the band "not having played together for years" when live aid happened. that's a lie, queen never broke up, they were on tour, they made records, when freddie made his solo album it was not a split up or a big surprise, all of them had solo albums as side projects.
I don't think it's right or respectful to change things or invent things that didn't happen.
Ahora muchos hablan de Queen y Freddie Mercury hay tantas cosas que no saben de esta gran banda la película no habla la realidad de las cosas que pena no sale la canción tampoco de este documental these are the days our live debería haber salido ya que fue la última de Freddy antes que se vaya no pusieron canciones que salen en la peli los inmortales
La pusieron en este documental, contento? Tenés que diferenciar un película con tintes biográficos, a un documental detallado sobre su vida e inicio y declive de Queen. La película fue aprobada por Brian May, asique quizás te cambie el panorama sobre lo que sabes y de lo que realmente paso, la película no es un completa ficción y hay escenas inéditas llevadas a la pantalla grande gracias a Brian May.
@@FM-tn1km no me gusta el resultado es mi opinión y Brian May si lo aprobó o no el solo no era miembro de la banda está bien para fines comerciales pero muchos que no conocen o recién conocen del grupo tendrán ideas erróneas como por ejemplo del año en que lo diagnosticaron con su enfermedad no fue en el año que mencionan, como dije no es una biografía pero al menos deberían dar mejores detalles a si no estoy contenta
la película es una fantasía, es ciencia ficción. es una pena, deberian haber respetado más la historia real. no me parece correcto que cambiaron cosas o las adelantaron de año.
lo bueno de la película es que hace que una nueva generación descubra a queen, eso es genial, pero la podian haber hecho más fiel a la realidad.
