In durian season in palembang, you can buy 3 durians Rp.10.000.-at pasar kuto...but the size is small..beside that you can find durian in other area in sumatera, like medan, padang, and bengkulu...those area have the good durians.....

Mahal apanya,,,itu sfh terlalu murah,,,kalau di cina dan singapur saja yg namanya durian jenis durian kunyit,atau jenis musang king,sekilo aja sampai 300 rbu rupiah,,dimalaysia 30 ringgit,atau sekitar 100 rbu rupiah,,di singapor 30 dolar,atau sekitar 300 rbu rupiah gaes

the price is to high .. the best durian is - Durian Sidikalang - but mostly alot java people ssay it Durian Medan.. its come from Sidikalang

and mostly the price is super cheap.. one big Durian is around Rp. 5,000 - 10,000, depend on session

Kita tidak bisa memperbandingkan harga buah di tempat yg berbeda. Ini bukan barang seperti Indomie yg diproduksi bersama dan didistribusikan. Buah itu memiliki waktu bertahan yg pendek serta jumlah produksi yg tidak sama.
Di Sumatera Utara harga Durian bisa hanya sekitar 20rb saja krn di sana produksi melimpah. Tetapi di pulau Jawa yg lahan sedikit sementara peminat lbh banyak, tentu harga menjadi lbh mahal. Di antara kota di pulau Jawa pun pasti berbeda harganya tergantung masa panen atau jauh-dekatnya dgn sentra produksi Durian.
Seperti itu melihat harga buah. Lagi juga kalau pedagang durian ambil untung ya biar saja, toh anda kalau punya barang mau dijual juga kan berupaya menjual dengan harga semaksimal mungkin. Biasa saja lah.
Ga usah terlalu mendebatkan soal mahal-murahnya. Lebih baik fokus dg cerita rasa durian yg ditampilkan pada video pa Martin ini.

I love durian.... I remember when i was kid my mom bought durian 2 becak filled with durians...we made dodol durian as gift for people who came to our house during Imlek... Also bought the whole durian tree...1 BIG TRUCK in Bogor ..it was soo good...we make es lilin/ popsicle... Ohh my God... Perfect for summer...😄😄

dimana dulu..di bogor aja nih, atau di bekasi, harganya bisa lebih mahal. bisa sampe 80k sebiji. nah, kalo di bengkulu, dsk, boleh lu tanya, kalo lagi musimnya nih, duren yang segede gaban, itu bisa lu dapet dg harga 30k.
they gave you high price because they knew you really wanted it. If you act like you don't really care and leave when they refuse to lower the price, they would likely give it up.
anyway, I'm a local who can eat durian but don't really like it. but when it is made into an ice cream, it becomes far more delicious for me. lol.

Kalo lagi menawar harus siap untuk walk away. Kasi tau harga yg kita mau, kalo merasa harganya terlalu mahal, bilang ngga jadi beli dan walk away aja. Kalau memang benar harganya "keterlaluan", biasanya si penjual bakal manggil lagi, untuk ok-in harganya.
Kalau dia ga manggil lagi, biasanya itu karena tawaran kita yg "keterlaluan", jadi yah kalo jadi belinya ke penjual lain, di sesuaikan aja lagi tawarannya.

Kampung saya dilombok adalah penghasil durian. Suatu hari nanti kl keluarga Johnson ke tempat saya di musim durian,kita beli disekitar tetangga sy,Rp.140.000 dapat satu keranjang. 2 buah durian dengan harga diatas 100rb,wowww maaahaaallll. Ditmpt sy durian sebesar itu paling mahal 15rb.

They live in Indonesia more than in the U.S. Haha. They are literally third world children :-). I used to live in Brunei as a child :-) So I can relate to the Indonesian way of life :-D

if the seed is bigger like the one you had, you can cook the seeds until the outer shell have some cracks, then peel the outer shell off and eat the inside, its good

FYI, Jackfruit and Durian’s seed can be eat. If you boil it till it cook. You can eat it and taste so good. Trust me! Lots of Indonesians love it too.

Trus masukin dalm panci kasih air di rebus sampe mndidih Nnti masukin kantong kcil taro di kulkas waaw segar jngan lupa kasih gula tiap satu liter air satu gelas kcil gula... You can also eat the seeds if you cook them by boiling or roasting them. When I was a kid, my mother cooked me a Sayur Asem with durian seeds and it tasted good.

Indeed its around 80k-120k for 2. Depend on its size. Try durian montong if you bought on supermarket. Well if you got lucky. Usualy it gone fast than you think. 200k big size montong.

If you boil the seeds then slice it into thin pieces, you can make chips out of it. My mom made durian chips with chili sauce and it tastes really, really good.
