The transmisión is the problem is something broken inside, i did the motor mounts , spark plugs speed sensors abs sensors and check conectors can bus and the problem is in the transmission
So what ended up being the issue? Having same problem with my 10 Altima. Also drank up oil really bad & smokes from under hood. I haven’t even attempted to fix it yet (happened 1 year ago). Ended up getting a new Honda Accord. But still have the old Altima sitting in the back of the driveway lol
There is over 100 thousand, It was definitely the transmission and 2011 Nissan's have a different tranny than most, that said.... more money:/. But it is now again running like a champ after replacement

Yes, it was the transmission. This yr car has a special tranny that when one thing goes in it you mind as well replace. Very costly, but the car engine and body are in great condition so it was worth it
Same thing on my end. Im about to fix my 2009. I was told the same, - transmission. Hopefully i can get it fixed. I might post a future up on how well it keep up and who i got the work done.
Had issues with a shaking got transmission replaced also in my 2012 altima and got the axles replaced and still shakes when im on the gas going 35-50 mph
Check the coils. I just had almost the same issue and it turned out one of the coils was going. It could be the transmission but rule out the coils 1st.
I beg to differ. I now have the same problem with a p0420 code coming up and I did just had the tranny swapped out for q used low mileage by Aamco. That was 20000 miles ago. They are not worth putting $ into them because of the defect. If it was for so many defects, these cars would be, in my opinion, at same level as Toyota or Honda. Setting opinions aside for a bit, so is that the problem? Something inside the tranny?
@@miguellopez-rm3qi that was the only issue that I had. Something inside the transmission but the whole transmission has to be replaced. I had a 2000 Toyota Camry (still have) and honestly I can compare but its my second best. I now have a white 2020 Nissan and I love it. After a 335i BMW. Would only change for 6cyl 2018 Toyota Camry.

BTW,, wow, thats a lot of miles. So that is pretty good. I know have a 2020 and I love it.
Bad plugs change out .also could be crank sensor. Start with the plugs and coils and go from there .happens when at 90,000 miles or so.
It's the ball bearings on the transmission pump cracked on those automatic transmission

While iam turning ac the sounds coming and while iam changing the gare the engine was jumping why ???
I would have the transmission checked

Guys try to check the faulty wiring and the bad relays from fuse box

It is an issue inside the transmission. The biggest issue is that this is a unique one and only 2011 has these coils
Transmission gone bad p0826 p1701 p1778 on it ..needed a new transmission that's what Nissan said. $5500 new.

Yours may be a rod, did you notice metal shavings in the oil?

Pull your codes probably a coil bad it's a common problem
Metal bands and pump bearings go bad

So it was something in the transmission. But the 2011 have a different one than others and the whole thing had to be replace.

It was the bearing in the transmission. I had to get it replaced
I'm having the same problem with my altima 2016. It isn't the spark plugs but maybe the ignition coil? Any suggestions?
It could be one of the coils

Suriel Sosa my did the same and I change the spark plug and coils and perfect again
Avinash Prasad so it turned out my ignition coil was faulty. I replaced it and the issue went away.

It’s because you bought a Nissan,..! That’s the problem...too many CVT issues ...

2011 IS WHEN THEY STARTED TO PUT CVT TRANS IN ALTIMAS, DO NOT BUY 2011-17. MY 2004 WITH 4 SPEED AUTO. TRANS STILL RUNS GREAT AFTER 250K MILES.
Altimas are good looking cars I got me a 2020 in Nov 19 and so far I am very happy with my buy
