Enjoying this series Max. They sadly remind me times when I was stubborn and didnt care about several overhyped designers fragrances that aged well (Gucci, D&G, YSL...).
Great selections .. beautiful episode 🌹.. on 2014 I like to add "lalique hommage a l'homme voyager".. it's unbelievable discontinued fragrance..
Brilliant tie in: Bentley for Men Intense and Jubilation. Never thought of it but there is a vibe similarity there and I bet guys who like one, like the other. They both have some complex notes, booziness, slight sourness around the edges and are both very unique.

I love the edt and edp… The Parfum, originally thought it was nothing special and always told people to stick with the edp..
However, after many wearings - I love the Parfum. Definitely in my top 5 “Blues”

Great video Max with some awesome offerings , I took you up on the Versace Oud Noir and love it . As for Fortitude you can still get it as far as I know , call the Robert Graham store and they will ship you a bottle , I got it late winter of this year 22 for $80 it's a great tobacco scent IMO . @@MaxForti Hello Max - I finally got that in, a little bit different from what I was expecting, but a very attractive scent profile. Going to be reaching for it a lot this coming fall/winter
Valentino Uomo and Uomo Intense are not discontinued. Valentino was acquired by L'Oreal and the fragrances are still available on the Valentinobeauty site. I find minor variations between the OG formations and the new formulations (I actually prefer the newer Uomo Intense over the OG). You will not be disappointed with either formulation though.

Max,guys, do you really get a tobacco note in The One edp? Being a lover of tobacco, I don't get it! It's just not a tobacco fragrance to me.
True I don't get that tobacco note either. When people say there is a tobacco note in it I call it bullshit! I smelled tobacco leaves and all sorts of them. And I get nothing out of this one. Just a bit sweet airy cinnamon kinda crap

Sahara Noir by Tom Ford was discontinued because some of the ingredients price rises extremely… the price of hole parfume will be unacceptable for consumers- so they discontinued it…
That's so sad, they should've made it a Private Blend Exclusive (such a shame axing this scent) one of the best releases from the last decade that many won't be able to experience...

Great video, per usual Max... I do have a question about CH Prive though. I don't like redundancy in my collection, and I'm afraid that if I pull the trigger and purchase this fragrance that it would be similar to something I already have... What are some fragrances that are liken to CH Prive or that you feel do a better job?
valentinos are discontinued , not sure about that. the bottles were done over to match the born in roma with the spiked collar

Hey Adriana, that fragrance is very hard to find for less than 200/300 range, what I suggest is joining a fragrance group and search there, from time-to-time people will post them for sale at a much more reasonable price point. Happy Searches!

Valentino Uomo and Uomo Intense discontinued?? Didn't L'Oreal just reformulated them and relaunched with caps and spikes like the Born in Roma line??
Yep they did. And they don't smell the same. İn the original Valentino uomo you could smell the warm hazelnut scent. İn the spike version I don't smell that one anymore. Just spices. Damn same L'Oréal ruins everything!
@@cengizgokce81 To be honest i think the spiked version is not only better but stronger for both Uomo and Uomo Intense. It seems to develop more everytime you use it.

Got real lucky a month ago and bought the only bottle of issey miyake noir ambre on fragrancenet on a very early Sunday morning at work. It was a tester, but I didn't care. 59 bucks well spent. Got it, smelled it. HOLY SHIT!!! Had to have another bottle for backup. I was ready to buy a full presentation a few weeks later from fragbuyca for like 130 bucks, but fragrancenet came through that morning and had it in stock again. This time full presentation for 75 bucks. You know I got that second bottle. Got Or Encens as well. Another good one, but it's no noir ambre.
