Thanks for posting this! I just finished the replacement, and everything seems to be working as hoped for. It took me about 2.5 hours overall just for the refrigerator section (freezer didn't need work), including defrosting the built-up ice on the heat exchanger, and cleaning everything up at the end. A word of caution to those with built-up ice... The back panel will not easily come off if it is stuck to the ice, so you'll want to be extra careful as you remove the cover. It isn't very sturdy, and you could run the risk of damaging the cover if you try to force it off. I made enough space to get my hands behind it, and worked it loose from the ice on both sides gradually until it was free. Everything else in this step-by-step guide was spot on!
This vid just helped fix my fridge, it's been almost a year since we last used it cause it wasn't going below 20° but the freezer was working fine, so we just switched it off and went back to our old LG. two nights ago I decided to google what might be the cost cause technicians here are very opportunistic. Found this vid and went to buy a Samsung Temperature Senso at a local appliance parts store. I installed it yesterday and the fridge is perfectly fine now @ 3°! Many thanks....

My sister has a Samsung, just out of warranty of course, that has great difficulty maintaining cool refrigerator temperatures when the doors are opened more than once every two hours. Do they think they're auto mechanics where they got to purchase basically half a house and tools to do their job? this is not the temp senser. that is the defrost sensor, please get it straightened out,
Was wondering this. My fridge defrost sensor was replaced 2 years ago for the typical ice build up issue. Great until now I’m having an issue with the fridge running nonstop and freezing foods. Thermometer inside fridge won’t stay above 32. I ordered a temp sensor and hoping it’s the problem. Not too sure where the temp sensor is located though
How do you know the senses are bad
Thank you.
My refrigerator is different I took that panel off and it doesn't look like yours.
Our videos are just to help give you a general idea on how to do the repair.
Replaced temp sensors. Drain clip. And thermal fuse. Still happening. No way the freezer temp is correct. Have it at its highest 8degrees and drain is frozen again. Between this and the TV we bought that had a “part we don’t make anymore” go bad in less than 2 years I’ll never buy Samsung again. Anyone have recommendations for other brands?
You explain unimportant things but miss the most important thing that is the trouble and how to test wether the thermistor is good or bad
What should the resistance be at certain temperature
News to me it has two sensors you have to replace.🤔
What is the model number of your refrigerator?

Now I found out my condenser fan is not coming on?
Is there anything else not working? What all is going on with your refrigerator?

The fridge is back to normal after I called Samsung and they walked me through clearing the code. Thanks again.
This Is the defrost sensor. Not the temp sensor
My freezer temperature dropping down itself.

*PLEASE HHHHHHHELLLLLLPPPPPP MY FRIDGE DONT STOP BEEPING CHANGE THE TEMPERATURE SENSOR STILL THE SAME,CHANGE THE MAGNETIC 🧲 AT THE DOORS STILL THE SAME PLEASEEEEEE HELP*
Dude that is "not" the temperature sensor!...that is the "defrost" sensor!...the Freezer temp sensor is in the ceiling of the freezer compartment under a little white plastic grille!...your channel cost me hours of frustration!...most you tube videos like yours don't mention anything about where the actual freezer compartment sensor is located....it's in the ceiling of the freezer compartment...you are showing replacement of the "Defrost Sensor"...please change the title of your video!
Did you figure out how to replace it?
I cannot seems to find any guide on replacing the temperature sensor.
I'm sorry for any confusion on the video. Depending on the model, the temperature sensors can be located in several different spots inside the unit. Our videos are generic videos to give you an idea on how the repair is done, but it could be different on your unit. If you have any questions you can contact us at 1-877-477-7278.
