      Any construction vehicle with an exposed air intake can be disable by stuffing something like a jacket into the air intake. Problem is it’s nearly impossible to do while the machine is moving at speed.
      Those tires though aren’t meant for road use and will blow if they’re ran on the road too fast for too long so keeping it moving actually helps stop something like a loader or telehandler.

    My only guess for the officer that looked under the blue car on how he didnt realize is that he saw the guy but thought he was lying on the other side of the fence at first and tried opening it at the same time he realized in the corner of his eye, it would explain why he pointed at him and all that cause he just thought he was on the other side.

    • @JorgeRincon-bs9es
      @JorgeRincon-bs9es 9 месяцев назад +11

      The reason he didn’t see him is because he only bent down far enough to look under the car, not at the other side. He wasn’t concerned about checking that side because he was going to the house in that direction, if the suspect had a gun he would have had 4 clean shots at the officer before he would have seen him, they need better training

    • @BeanCasserole-wg7wu
      @BeanCasserole-wg7wu 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@JorgeRincon-bs9es Yeah they absolutely didn't see him until they were right beside him, and then they just noticed him to the right of them. You can tell that they didn't know where he was and didn't see him under the car by how they went to the gate without paying any attention to the right. If he had seen him and was aware there was a criminal to his right, he would definitely have his guard up and be looking in that direction.

    First clip: the officer seems to have thought the suspect was on the other side of the fence, he saw the suspect, but got confused whether the fence was between them or not.
    Second clip: it looks like they needed the heavy machinery to stop the other heavy machinery since the one I the highjacked one could easily squish a patrol vehicle but not another large one, a fight fire with fire sort of deal.

      In the first clip the officer saw the person on the other side of the car. The signal when he pointed his hand was for the other police officers to go around the car to trap him so he had nowhere to run. He tugged on the fence in order to not give away to the criminal that they knew where he was

Never had to do that though fortunately. The reason they needed another front loader to stop the first front loader, is because the power of the front loader.
    That machine is freaking powerfull and heavy.
    Theres no way to force stop that thing with anything that the police has.
    You could get in the cab or shoot the driver, sure.
    But not only do you risk excessive force charges, but worse, the loader could get out of controll, even if only temporary.
    And a machine with this much horsepower out of controll, even if only for a minute or a few, can easily cause serioys damage and/or cost lives.

    The reason they had the second ( i.e. good dude) guy on the heavy equipment is because the first ( i.e. bad dude) guy probably wasn’t professionally trained on the equipment. The second guy knew what he was doing and had the edge. You can drive one of those things but if you aren’t well versed on using one you can be easily overtaken by someone who is. Besides the fact that you can’t chase heavy equipment with a car due to the fact that you might get crushed. If you shoot at it the bullets will ricochet.
