I've never heard of this band til now but holy SHIT, this fucking kicks ass. It sounds different enough without being too weird, and it perfectly captured the frantic, dancey energy of the original version. I think MCR would've really appreciated this. 10/10
The transitions between the poppy, slow verses and the faster, more rocking choruses kinda remind me of "This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race" by Fall Out Boy
Full offense but this is a god-tier cover, and the best one of the album. My friend and I were listening to the whole thing last night (I hadn't heard it since it came out and I don't think he ever had) and we were so shaken the whole time this was playing I'm surprised we didn't immediately combust.
This and The End. I actually think both of them are better than the originals, because they build on the original rather than recreating. It's like Bacon rules, but Bacon Jam is out of this world

This is my favorite song from the original album, and while this cover does feel botched like the other songs on this complete and utter cash grab, this is definitely better than most of the other songs on this "tribute" album
