Mizzou will have bring their A game when they play A&M. A&Ms defense is oppurtunistic, and the offense has a top 10 run game. Also top 10 teams have struggled there the last few years despite how unimpressive A&M has been during that same timeframe
Cook has put on 15lbs of muscle. I think he's just overthrowing guys b/c he's getting used to the new muscle he's got. He'll be fine. Burden dropped a 50yd td pass & Wease has dropped a few balls. Marquis has dropped a few big plays. If half of those were caught his numbers look totally different. If he played the 2nd half in the 1st two games, his numbers look different. Cooks gonna cook this game. If teams want to play over the top with 2 safeties & dbl team Wease & Burden on every play, we'll just run all over them. MIZ!
I've kinda been saying the same thing, more specifically about cook and the muscle and being healthy. Most of his throws seemed to have more on them than the previous 2 years. Playing with a torn Labrum for a season is crazy work and rehabbing from surgery and getting back by spring practice last year was crazy too .. this is really his first full year with no issues arm wise as a starter. I think he's gotta get used to having more zip on the ball etc
As a Mizzou man Brady Cook is not good enough. He played above his level last year. But if he is hurt like you think may be the case this isn't the year to be a tough guy. I've been with this school for 25 years and I can't remember a more vital year for the future of the program.

If he played the second halves of those 1st 2 games he's over 300ypg, 8tds. If you take sacks out, he's at 26 ru, 125yds, 4.9ypc, 4 rutds. So yeah he's having a good season, not great. It'll pick up as soon as teams start defending the run.
So many people who don’t know football don’t realize teams are playing Mizzou’s offense in a lot of cover 4 this year and it has contained their explosive offense. It takes away mid and deep routes but leaves the run and short routes open.

Barely beating trash BC then struggling to edge out Vandy in OT is a BAD look. Mizzou has a cupcake sched and is barely getting it done. Mizzou might still go 10-2 however if they do, they will be the first team left out since they have such a trash sched.

Playing in the SEC is tough top to bottom. They were all top 10 until the season started. Tennessee and Missouri are both 2nd tier but that doesnt mean they get a pass with teams like Vanderbilt, Arkansas or Kentucky. Thats why bowl victories generally go to the SEC. Mizzou Football is 15-3 since the start of the 2023 season. No matter how bad the team looked this past weekend, the Mizzou Tigers have everything in front of them. Even if they finish the season 8-4, while it will be a disappointment compared to expectations, they have nothing but good times ahead of them.

I’m an lsu fan over everything but I live in Missouri I went to the game last year between the 2. It’s a make or break year imo. Losing burden cook and countless others after this year if they falter I think the national limelight will be gone for them and back to irrelevancy. From the outside watching games drink is not a good game manger what so ever and it scares me for you guys playing at bama I feel like it will be a rout. I have a ton more to say but it’s dire this year goes well or it will set back the program a decade

They haven't played anyone and can't pass the ball. And if you think you are rushing on Oklahoma for 200+, you are again on that copium.. you will be facing 1 of the best Dlines in the SEC. And a greedy secondary that is #2 in the nation in takeaways. Missouri doesn't have the depth on the OL to keep up with Oklahomas Dline and Linebacker depth, and lets be honest entire defensive depth. The offensive line is getting better each game, and thats all they need to keep doing is get better and better each week, and depending on WR injuries by that point... hey who knows Scotts going to eat crow on this one for sure

Love your channel. Scott, I'm a big of a Mizzou fan as there is. I predicted 5-0 into LSU, 10-2, 11Pt OSU win. I nailed them all. I predicted 4-0 into A&M & 10-2 this year, playoffs. We're going to beat A&M. Their defense is mid. They can't pass, & we can defend the run. They have no QB. They don't have a standout WR. 2022 we should have been 9 wins. I can show you bs officiating that was just outrageous which is par for the course for mizzou. The roughing the punter 40yds back from the line while the punter was running. It was so bad they changed the rule the next year. We were much better than 6-6 that year, that's why I knew 2023 would be great. The only weakness on this team is blown coverages at CB, Green being out of position, & penalties. BC should be ranked right now. They've had a tough schedule to start the season & are 4-1. Mizzou needs to work the secondary’s as A&M’s are weak, now A&M is successful at running the ball and the qb. Causing defenders to leave wrs open, which is why they consistently can get passing tds, I think the home field advantage will give us the win, ags by 7
