This was very informative. I have been researching flavoring addatives in food because of my love for malty flavors they add in to food products like marshmallows. It’s not just vanilla/vinillin usually, but boosted with maltol or something similar.
I hope someday you'll make a video on honey accords as these are my favourites or maybe on perfumery tinctures Love your work, you exaplain everything clrearly and arent afraid to give your opinion. Keep it up
Thanks Sam, i am addicted to your videos and I really appreciate your honesty in explanation. I am working on making a fragrance close to KHAMRAH FROM LATTAFA, its a gourmand note and very stable and powerful, I hope you help with a video in that topic. Again many thanks for your hard work👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hello . Thank you for the wonderful and distinctive explanations. I have benefited from you a lot. I would also like you to explain the maceration of perfumes, thank you
Hey brother very informative channel . I have a request can you please make a video on how to make a perfume from ready made fragrance oil (A clone oil brought from market lets say Dior suvage ) can you provide info on what synthetic materials to add depending on top base and middle note such as hedione or aldehydes, fixiative to boost projection and lasting .
From least to most volatile, anisic aldehyde, acetophenone, benzaldehyde and 2-methyl ethyl butyrate are all very cherry-like, but they are less fruity, more intense. So, to compound a cherry accord, you mix them with strawberry, raspberry, apple and peach notes such as aldehydes C-14 and C-16, beta ionone, fructone, ethyl maltol, damascones, benzyl acetate... the list goes on, and you can tweak it towards what you want to achieve (sour cherry, sweet cherry, black cherry, etc.). For photorealism, it would be ideal to use trans-2-hexenal (green-fruity, peely) but cis-3-hexenol will do.
Hey sam, do you have a folder/sheet that you can share with all your notes on different raw materials (like the ones you have as slides in your videos)? I find those to be very helpful as a beginner
Is homofuranol - 27538-09-6 similar to homofuraneol 27538-10-9? I can't find a source to buy the furanEol version you mention so was wondering if it is similar if you have used it.
Gourmand is my fave 💖love this 🍯
Homofuraneol is one my favourite materials, sugar lactone is also good.
Mesifurane is one I suggest u try 👌

I second this 🙋🏻♀️
Very nice, as always. Can we have a tobacco notes video, please?
My mouth was watering throughout watching this video, haha!
Please do more videos on gourmands. It's probably my favorite category of perfumes.
This is fascinating
Always appreciate the info Sam! A timely vid too with autumn quickly approaching in the northern hemisphere. You have me curious about homofuraneol.

Loved it!

I wish ,dear sam, that you could ship raw materials to EU and that your app could be bought from play store....😅❤
Don't forget Xerjoff's Mamluk, if you like a caramel accord.
Hey Sam
Could you please do cherry (and black cherry) notes?
