I liked how Mike 'corrected' Kubrick at some points however kept his ideas alive to make it a good adaptation of the book and a brilliant sequel to Kuberick's shining
Same, I like eveeything in Doctor Sleep except that. Color grading in The Shining is much better. Although, nothing matches The Shining in any aspect. I believe it is because The Shining was made on film and Doctor Sleep was made by too much CGI.
