I love using the Revell Contacta Professional. I have really bad luck with the Tamiya Thin not holding parts together. I also have some 5 minute epoxy I use for my larger metal figures I paint.
Probably a case of not all plastics being equal with the Tamiya juice. When I stretched my big rig I used evergreen to extend and box in the chassis, Tamiya extra thin didn't even touch the stuff.
Hey Mitchell, Chris here....hope U hd a great Thanksgiving.....I use al of the same glues U use....great stuff. The Testors Model Master cement with the thin metal tip is going away...my advice is try to get more of them on Ebay if U can. The Model Master line is being phased out shortly........not sure if U knew that or not....speak 2 U soon!!!!!
Aye, I made a trip to town and got a few jars of model masters metalizers while I was there. I don't do a lot of work that needs it, but I'm slowly transitioning to Vallejo for my metalizer needs since I know I'll probably never see Model Masters again.
I heard that masking both sides of clear parts, stops the superglue fogging, but I haven't tried it. BTW What are those marks on your wrists? Be Safe, Tony.
Thanks for the info. A had a few questions about glues. Perfect exambles specially with the fogging in clean parts!!.
Keep it up!!!
Great info!!! Thanks for sharing

Going back and reviewing your 'how to' vids. This is good. Can you provide a.link or the product name for the uv resin? Thanks.
It's called "5 second fix" there is a generic brand called Bondix.
