Try running the Jive into the JHS compressor at lower volume and gain. It’ll really fatten up that overdrive on Channel A. I run into a Morning Glory which does tend to lose low end but sounds great on bass with a blended signal. I use the Tri Parallel Mixer!
Nice! Here the PnP on channel B is only taking care of compressed, slightly boosted in the lows, clean signal. Channel A (drives + fx) does not have a compressor. But I am thinking about adding one though. And yes the Jive in front a compressor I pretty cool indeed, although the dirt switch on the PnP does something similar, gives a bit of growl.
Nice board! You have several demos for different compressors. Why did you choose the pulpn peel for your board? What made you settle for that particular one?
Thanks! Basically because like the Lusithand Alma comp on my other board, the PnP has a tilt eq control, which allows me in this case to boost the compressed lows a bit.
Correct. I think the best option is to follow @janisaltmanis in Instagram. There you’ll see the pedal Janis has in stock, promos and stuff like that. Also get in contact with him on Instagram or through the web site (link in description box). 😉
I like this type of format. I'm a big fan of hearing a pedal all on its own.
Cool!
Those heavier gain tones are absolutely fantastic. Nice and growly without any flab
I knew you’d like it!!! 😉

@@thewetterbass I see! Kinda like the diamond bcp-1?
Exactly!
Is this a custom pedal? There´s no info about this particular one on Janis site.
Cheers!
