Fahrenheit has been so good, and so unique, for so long that it's almost like we take it for granted. It truly is like nothing else out there. I've been wearing it for 15 years and have no intention of stopping soon. It's practically perfect.
My father's signature scents were Irish Spring Soap, a suit/leather jacket, Lagerfeld (1978 masterpiece. Boozy/spicy/luxury soap notes). VERY nostalgic for me, and of coarse im bias on these scents too..lol RIP
Great review - I was always a fragerance fan over the years - start, stop, pause and now back again - so after many years of using scents I now have a closet full of memories from the 70’s 80’s 90’s etc. I recently got out my bottle of Fahrenheit and your review was paused and off to eBay - $175 bucks for a vintage bottle?? That’s nuts! My 3.4oz vintage bottle is not going anywhere - Peace
You is so gorgeous God bless you I can't wait to buy some of this fragrance I just bought me some of the Christian Dior sauvage Toilettet it smells awesome
Nice review! I bought my first batch in... 1989 in France. My current batch is from 2017 which they say came back closer to the original gasoline vibe and strength. Always loved it! I also have several different knock-offs, for fun and curiosity, and once tried to make my own version of it :)
hi, I loved Fahrenheit in 90s it was my favorite, and want to rebuy it this week, so the current one is different? is it weak or different scent? would appreciate if you answered before i buy sth else haha
@@manfredkrepskyz.3474 thank you, I tested it the other day, although it immediately took me back to my teen years, I was disappointed as I remember it as a more macho in your face perfume, maybe its nostalgia or something, got Rien instead, its closer to what I had in mind
I've sampled the original and enjoyed it. It's hard for me to wear cause I don't have that super masculine personality that this works well with. I do own the Farenheit Parfum version which is quite nice. p.s. love the personal stories on your last few videos.
The original Fahrenheit 1988/90s version was amazingly a unique fragrance. Such a classic but the current reformulated ones are not even close. For me Dior reformulation ruined the timelessness of such a legendary perfume. Quite a disappointment 😎
Disagree. When it came out would have been mind-blowing. Today smelling for the first time i bought the expensive discontinued 'Parfum' edition to test, i 'liked' it didn't 'love' it. I feel the composition is a ton of ingredients all over the place and becomes synthetically cloying, thus smells kinda cheap vs modern day refined niche frags. It's just a once great relic of the past that just doesn't hold up today.
I agree with your husband not liking this cologne. Not a big fan I still have the original bottle 2001. What's the best time to wear this? Season wise, summer, winter, spring or fall?
first of you're 38 how? you look 19. well I had Fahrenheit in 90s as my favorite, I wanted to rebuy it this weekend but read so much of how its different nowadays and doesn't last or project anymore... since you have both how is the new version compared to the 90s bottle? I'd appreciate if you answered as I'm out of perfume right now 🖤
Lol aww thanks. I haven't worn the vintage version enough to give you a fair comparison, but I'm more than satisfied with the reformulation. I hope you're able to test it out on your skin so you can see how it performs on you. :D
@@DeliciousDelights I got Rien intense incense instead in the end, the Fahrenheit I tested took me back to 90s but was too weak Im sure it used to be much more aggressive and masculine, Rien has also that oldschool macho feeling toit
Hate this one with passion.I hated it in the 90-s,now ....and i'll hate it forever.Makes me want to puke every time i smell it. As a frag-head and fragrance collector with 280 full bottle fragrances ... i do own A LOT of dirty, funky, animalic frags, but this one is a no-no for me. I do own Fahrenheit 32 , but 32 is a completely different fragrance. SOTD is Agar Blend by Davidoff

Ground breaking. King amongst kings. Nothing is better than Fahrenheit and nothing will ever be as unique.
I mean I don't know about all that, but it's a great frag 4sho
Still my favourite. 30yrs later.
the most interesting, rrally "groundbreaking" perfume ever created for me
That is a gem of a fragrance and it’s not dated
This is my favorite fragrance of all time.
Yes! I wonder as well why no one talks about it! It's sooooooo good. It's my dad's signature scent and ladies love how he smells

I remember having my husband smell it at Sephora once. He just shrugged his shoulders in a ‘meh’. I wouldn’t have minded if he wore it though.
A timeless classic for sure.
Love love this perfume 😍I go weak in my knees when I smelt it on a guy at a Xmas dance 23 years ago
Love DF. Had it years ago and came back go it recently and I love it. Signature worthy

Too me the best smelling fragrance ever
Fahrenheit fan since 1998. I have Armani Essenza, Boss XY, Drakkar Noir, But I prefer Fahrenheit
I had it back when it came out, I think 89? I was 17, maybe 18. Now at 47 I just got it again today. My favorite Dior fragrances, this and Sauvage.
Lol im same age and first smelled it in 89 and baught a bottle recently too, AND my other favorite is sauvage 😂👍
@@smokeybirdman eau sauvage or sauvage edt 2025?

damn, for 1989 you must have slayed a lot of ladies with it!...lol
This particular review led me to buy this
What a delightful watch- Thank you sweetie
My pleasure :)
It smells a little bit like cucumber
You’re 38?!!!???? 🤯 I thought you were in your twenties. You don’t look your age at all 👍🏻😀😄 👍🏻👍🏻

Probably the best designer fragrance ever created!
Stelios C. This is the worst scent ever it is so bad.

I have always loved this fragrance since the early 90s still one of my favorites Very sexy fragrance does anybody else care of slight melon undertone?

Masterpiece! Motor oil can smell beautiful :)
Agreed :D
Your husband probably doesn´t know what hes missing...
;)
SHE'S 100% CORRECT. CAME OUT IN EARLY 90S
No, Fahrenheit was launched in 1988.
My preffered scent,
and: NO WAY you are 38! :=)
Lol 40 now :)
Devotion lasts...
I don’t think it’s dated at all. I do not like the fragrance at all; I can see why some do though.

It's too synthetic cloying for me. After 1.5 hours i started to feel sick and had to scrub it off.
