You are literally my idle, you are such an inspiration to everyone, especially me, you taught me you dont have to have the most expensive stuff and gear to catch huge fish, thanks, tight lines🤙🤙
Exactly, all you need to do is get out and fish and put time in with whatever basic gear you can get. That’s what’s good about this channel..no fancy $800 combos and all that, no excessive sporting of gear, but actual tips and fishing.
Great vid JC and sub'd on to JT after watching both sides of you two guy's vids... My Gawd what a beautiful morning and with a Snook bite like that... T'was like the Amazing Good Ole Days, I remember back in the 70's... I can hardly wait for the next one. Thanx ever so much... gw
Thanks guys! This is a great video of two brothers enjoying God’s creation. I learned from you guys and caught my first Snook on vacationing this summer and taught 4 family members how to do the same. It was awesome! Fish on!
Hey J.C, looks like that early morning bite was on again. That snook was a beauty... and what a great run she made. Lookin' forward to the to be continued footage.
HEY THATS WHAT I LIKE TO SEE!!!...THOSE ARE THE MORNINGS WE LIVE FOR!!!...JC I remember your video not to long ago when the red tide was horrible and things were just ruff, but I told you stick with it buddy....AWESOME STUFF!!!..Cant wait to get down there and fish!!!...
I've never caught so many big Snook in one area before in such a short period of time. I've been out of town, not sure if the bite is still hot there or not. I went there after we started posting videos and pictures of the spot and there were ten fisherman all lined up on the corner where we've been catching them. I"m sure it's getting hammered by the weekend warriors.
@@Thonny Ha ha...yeah I got on an excellent topwater bite in the Yak the other day, not ready to reveal that location yet though. This week I'll be hitting the yak fishing pretty hard.
This spot really had some giants in there. I'm wondering if it had something to do with the phase of the moon for spawning. I've never seen so many HUGE Snook in one location.
Thank you for posting that video on how you cleaned up your reel after dunking in saltwater. I’m going to give your method a shot since I recently had one of mine get submerged again. Still works fine but I’m going to flush it out with WD40 like you did, I like how you didn’t use water at all, it doesn’t repel salt or drive it out like lubricants do. Congrats on all your snook too.
Nice bunch of snook brother. I watched Josh's version a few days ago. I think I fished that same pre-storm front when it was down in Naples, it was an awesome bite that night.
@@RadReelingFishing I like wading if it's not too rough and cast parallel to the beach just after first light. Make sure to thoroughly clean your spooltec leader, they rust!
First Light Tackle, first-light-tackle-inc.myshopify.com/ I think these were 1 or 1-1/2 ounce. I may have said it in the video...The Snook are on the beaches during the summer months though.
On my 4000 reel I have 15 lb braid. On the larger reels 6000 0r 7500 I have 30lb and 50 lb. The leader size varies. With a Spooltek lure I use a 40 lb mono leader. With the Yo-zuri I use a 25lb or 40 lb leader. With the jig I like to use a long leader of 40 lb and then tie on a 10" section of 80 lb and that's where the jig attaches. The reason for the 11" 80lb piece is because huge Snook inhale those jigs deep in their mouths.
Ha ha...really? I found this spot because I just decided to go fishing one day. Nobody told me there were giants there. Common, just go fishing and find a spot you can be proud of finding on your own. What is it with people these days. It seems like all most people want to do is have a RUclipsr tell them were to catch fish. So, we as RUclipsrs teach how to catch fish, show how to rig for them, give clues as to where a fisherman will find then and still that's not enough...You want me to give you a general location so you can go to Google Earth and find the exact spot. Please...give me break man. If you don't already know this, Snook will be near the major inlets and along the beaches during May, June, July and August. The prime months are June and July. I'm already hearing reports of people catching and seeing Snook along the beach. Isn't that sort of information enough for you to just go to an inlet or beach and see if you can find some monsters on your own? Honestly, I'm sure you'll find the spot on your own as you meticulously look through Google Earth until you find it. I mean, how many inlets are there in Fl anyway?
@Rad Reeling Fishing lol this is single handedly the rudest reply to a question I've ever read. First off, I did not ask for this location. I asked for A location. Secondly, this is the first and last question I will have ever asked you JC. Unsubscribed now, tight lines and Goodluck in life.

JC, I am glad to see you and Josh slamming fish. Just wondered how the Spooltech leader is holding up with all these fish. Best, Chris
Thanks for watching. I've been rinsing the cable and oiling it after every use. It seems to be doing fine.
loved your videos. I fish for snook lots around Juno and Jupiter. we do aok. where were you fishing?

Thanks for watching and commenting. Blessed is a great way to say it.
How were u using the spoolteks and jigs
Thanks for watching and commenting. I always vary the retrieve on both of those lures, no specific method worked all the time.
Love Sanibel fishing! I was catching some snook at JN Darling and blind pass. Quick question what kind of knot did you all tie directly on the jig?
Loop knot
Hey JC great action. A quick question which light were you using?
Suptig Night Light GoPro

is it normal to catch snook on flairhawk jigs during the day????
Amazing how long they’ve been there!!!
I'm guessing since about the second week in June.
Rad Reeling Fishing Man that’s a great run!
It is surprising how shallow those big snook are just before sunrise.
My guess is they were hanging out there because of food supply.
