- Had 4 kids wanting some lake time. But with a broken leg and no ski boat or sea-doo in the water it wasn't happening. Thought "what the hell" and took my little 25hp fisher out, exceeded all expectations!
I have a 25 hp evinrude etec on a 15' princecraft yukon and it'll water ski me at 195 pounds! Best 25 hp on the market hands down. Love mine!
That's amazing! I had a new Honda 15hp on a 13' smoker craft and that thing was a turd. This is awesome 🤙
That's pretty good. I have a 25 hp Evenrude and it won't even plane my boat out without pulling anything.
The Etec engines have lots of torque
Wow that's impressive!!! 👍👍
Bet those kids loved it
I pulled a tube with my 16ft Lowe big Jon with a 25hp mercury efi it did great
haaaaa WOW @ the power!!! yay 4 yall!!!!
bhaaaa!
Hate to be a killjoy here, but 'safety first' would be to have a spotter in the boat. I am reasonably sure that is required in all 50 states. Great video though! Impressive to see how the little 25 HP is up to the job.
Rope looks a lil short as well...
You most certainly do not and have never “hated being a kill joy”
What kind of rope are you using?
LOVE IT! I’m looking into this exact setup right now. Can I ask you...was there any issue with the tube submarining or diving into the water as a result of either the low latch point on stern, or the inexperience of the kids riding on tube? THANKS!
if you are having issues with swamping the towable usually its one of 2 things the riders are to far forward or the rope is tied upside down in the quick connect the rope should go through the bottom and out the top to help give the nose a little lift usually the tied direction isn't a issue but on some setups every inch you can get the rope up the better it will pull from the stern rings
How long is the v and what type of rope? And how long was the blue rope thanks!
Still running good? Any problems so far?
No Spotter!
can you tell me your brand of tow rope and bridle or Y rope? Thanks.
I don’t know what brand mine is, but I have the same one as in the video and i got it at bass pro for around 25 bucks.
Great video! How did you tie the rope to the boat?
You just make a y from two hooks or the back handles
Impressive. But for the love of God, please throw away those carabiners (hooks) because some have been known to bend and break and slingshot, resulting in death.
I'm sure the breaking strength of the steel hooks is much less than that of the rope. SMH. Even if one did break off the rope is still attached to it. Where's it going to go?
@@scottcoulter457 i know of a casualty from a cheap caribbeaner
No way 25hp mercury could do that lol
its better with a 40 hp evinrude we have 40 hp evinrude and that goes faster
That's nothing for it.Will pull a 180lb slalom skier with observer.Been doing it for 30 years on a 10ft 6in flat bottom and Yamaha DM25.
