You need to get a m2c so you can mount the max5 and put your receiver back stock place. I am running 32/46 in my it don't wheelie as much like yours and I love it.

Possibly increase stability by offsetting the truck’s CG using counter weights. If adding more weight, also consider modifying suspension with dampers for additional support. Hope this helps! 🙂

How is it fun driving that XRT with that much power? I am sold on Arrma I bought the Typon Tuned TLR and it is fast and stable it's 4x4 and it stays on the ground so I'm able to use all the power. I have a Traxxas Rustler VXL 2wd and it does wheelies all up and down the road so I can't use all the power and it's not as fun as my Typhon.
I went mod 1.5 because the hardend steel doesn’t break but just strips. And you might want to shim your diffs for longevity. I run the hobbywing 5687 which is probably even a little less powerfull than this motor.
Love the video, your enthusiasm for this truggy is awesome , I have the same motor in my Kraton , it won't be long you'll be pulling that motor from the xrt , it just won't hold up to the power
I love this car. Great body wheels combination colour wise. I had an xmaxx and a losi 5b 8s with the same motor and esc combo you put in the txt. I sold it all… but now I want back into the hobby and this car might be it 💪🏻

Just use the stock fans and heat sink. I put the heat sink on a vice and used it to spread the heat sink open enough to slide the motor in. Then reinstalled the fans. Problem solved
You need to go with WFO 1.5 steel mod spur and pinion gear combo. Anytime you mod up to a big motor, esc and battery combo you need to upgrade other supports like your gears, steering, tires and what not because you will break something on that truck because of so much torque and power that 5th scale motor is putting out. You can't even keep the front end down when trying to do a high speed pass because so much torque coming out from that motor when you barely throttle into it. If you do a high speed pass next time try switching to street tires and change your gearing.
The gear set your going to use as a replacement /upgrade is the Traxxas, 'Spur gear, 50-tooth (machined, hardened steel) (wide-face)/ gear, 20-T pinion (1.0 metric pitch) (fits 5mm shaft)/ set screw, MODEL# 6450' ?

These are notorious for the spur gears just shredding just complet garbage it's to much power with those sticky tires it's just to much tork in them

If new that's prolly $1200-$1500 and maybe more with lipos and charger. He prolly has 2k in that rig with tires and all.

Thin center diff fluid. Traxxas runs peanut butter center diff fluid in their bashers so they will wheelie.

That motor is definitely not as smooth as it could be love that motor in my kraton 8s. Has way to much power honestly and goes a solid 78mph lmao
