Bill was one of the greatest college basketball players ever. That reputation enabled him to develop slowly on the Knicks. Most college players are not given the same amount of time to make an NBA team. Bill turned out to be a very solid pro.

Imagine how good the Knicks would be with the 3-point shot. Bradley. DeBussere. Lucas. cazzy Russell. They would have filled it up.

I remember when he was running for the democratic nomination , back in 2000, vs Gore; his campaign had a fundraiser in the Garden, with all former teammates and competitors in attendance, in support lke chamberlain, havlicek, west , oscar robertson, russell, rick b.; He would have made an excellent president, always the optimist

Yep. About the Oxford-Cambridge varsity basketball match he also was quoted in saying the following: "In the 14 March 1966 edition of Sports Illustrated, NBA Hall-of-famer Bill Bradley said in reference to The Varsity Game: "'This game,' remarked Bradley, who flew back from playing with the Italian Simmenthal team in Milan the morning of the event, 'is the only one I care about.'""
