As one of (I assume many) the stressed out people who watch your videos, just wanted to thank you for posting frequently and giving all of us something to relax to that is both wholesome and warm. I appreciate the subtle jokes, but that could just be the dad humor that lives in me. Keep being awesome, seems like it’s just natural anyway!
Beautifully said!!! I join with my thanks as another super anxious person who loves “escaping” into your sweet and fun videos!!! 🙏🙏🎉🎉 thank you for your work!
All that for under 200 bucks? Alot cheaper and more comfortable than first class on a plane and bigger and nicer than a motel room. I can't get over how nice and clean the room is. Fabulous.
May I just say thank you? Your videos are fantastic and I always learn a bit in each video. Appreciate the geography lessons (yes, I know it's with Google Maps' help) - I get an idea as to distance and length of your trips. You also took the time to explain a bit about the Kurushima Strait (the current speed as well as what it is known for) - this is so helpful when deciding where or what to visit. And the view was spectacular! In my next lifetime, I hope to be able to travel to Japan and take advantage of the amazing transportation available there to visit some of the wonderful places you've focused on during your travels. Excellent, excellent!
I was getting Overlook Hotel from The Shining vibes, when I saw the corridor outside the rooms. I half expected to see two little girls at the end of it 🤗
Ferries seem so relaxing and calm as a way to travel. I’m used to the North American way - where you panic and sit in terrible seats and worry about missing your flight or bus that is probably late or delayed anyway.
Beautiful! Thanks for showing us the bridge and strait at the beginning. Love a little peak at the local scenic and tourist spots along the way (as well as the food spots too!).
I enjoyed that! I'm so sorry you missed the sunrise (stupid rain!), but really you must stop frightening the food!! 😂 I laughed so hard at that bit! Poor sukiyaki 😲 Thank you for always making such fun, interesting, and informative videos!
That cabin is truly nicer than some of the apartments I have lived in. Ferry boats in America are decommissioned military ships. They typically have one or two floors that are just open spaces with theater style seating. Some of them have small galley style Cafe's in them where you can get snacks and sometimes beer and wine depending on the length of the journey and if you brought your car. Your ferry boats are like cruise ships, they are beautiful. But most ferry rides here are 1-2 hours long where I can see yours can be a day or longer so it would make sense that people would need something a little bit more comfortable.
Adds another ferry trip to the bucket list . Hmmm it may be easier to move to Japan rather than save for all these trips ! Thankyou for all the work that goes into these videos.
Can't believe this room you were staying at is in a ferry of all places. Looks more like something on an ocean liner!! Might be too much room for one person, as you said, but I can't say it was a bad experience at all. I was surprised the dinner on this ferry went on so late compared to other ferries where they were early. For those of us in the US, what is a TOTO ? Anyone?
Toto is a brand of bathroom fixtures, specifically toilets. In 1994 after the Northridge Earthquake in LA, we replaced all our toilets with Toto fixtures. They broke free from the floor in the violence of the earthquake. Ours were very basic, nothing like these fancy models that are available today. (But still in use 28 years later!)
Another beautiful trip, thank you! I liked the big room, it's too bad you didn't have it for longer. I'll have to watch the other video to decide which room I like the best. I live in the Arizona desert, USA, so all the amazing ferry boat trips just fascinate me! We have only one bus to ride, and that is 15 miles away. All of the trains, ferries, bus trips you share with us are so enjoyable, and I love seeing Japan from a local's point of view
So calming. I'm just about to sleep but I want to watch this video first. Now I'm more relaxed. It's so stressful to me every end of the month, and it's already midnight and now I must go to sleep. Thank you for always keep the calming vibes to your videos.
Nice to see the bridge from another angle! As always, relaxing and enjoyable. I also appreciate the Google Maps view of the trip at the start, I'm learning more about Japan's geography with every video!
The cabin was so nice, a shame the trip wasn't longer. Definitely a ferry to check out for travel. The views in the beginning were amazing, great to know a bit about the local area. Thank you.
Well the room looked very nice for the price. Very big I got to admit that. The bed look comfortable too. The food look good. But you get up to watch the sunset and it's raining. You're about to leave in sunshine 🌻 shining bright. You got to know your luck. I'm glad you enjoyed your experience
Always looking forward to your videos! Another great one. This is just me - I know you're probably earning enough from your channel to treat yourself to these fancy cabins (and there's nothing wrong with that!) but I do miss when you'll try and review smaller solo rooms and capsule beds. You definitely don't need to of course, but I do hope we'll see another one of those someday. Keep up the good work!
My biggest dream is travelling in Japan. Because of economic problems in Turkey I cannot do it but when I watching your videos I feel incredibly happy and full of energy and I always saying myself that’s why I’m studying a lot and one day I’ll graduate from my university and live in this beautiful country. I love you Japan
Only 8 hours isn't enough! Such a wonderful ferry it would be lovely for a weekend. In 1992 I had a long layover at the Narita airport. The bathrooms looked like any other with no fancy toilets. It's funny to me to see toilets you have to plug in! 😎 Yes, I'm from the USA 🇺🇲
Beautiful scenery from the Kurushima Strait Observatory. Enjoyed seeing the bridge in daylight. You had a very nice room, the bed looked particularly comfortable. Your beef and rice reminded me of Yoshinoya. I really enjoyed this trip and will definitely follow you on your next. Keep safe. 😊
Thanks for bringing us along! I don’t like when large beds are pushed against the wall. Especially if you’re the one that has to sleep there! The food looked delicious and even though it was raining, the view was pretty amazing!
I enjoy your videos. The room and food were medium good, but too expensive for what you received. There was no tea or coffee service items in the room. Loved the view of the bridge and the observatory!
Thank you for the nice video again! No tea and a empty fridge with no water or anything inside in a royal cabin seems weird to me. To bad the rain didn't let you enjoy the sunrise. At least you it stopped before you had to get off, so you didn't get wet!
Thanks for another great video. I was a day late watching this one. I was also on a ferry this weekend. Round trip Vancouver to Victoria Canada. My room was nothing like this because I didn't have a room. It's only 90 minutes lol. Stayed on the deck. Beautiful weather and views.
So glad your videos just happened to pop up and I decided to check them out. Really enjoy the adventures you take us on. Very calming and informative. 😁👍
That huge cabin was at the front of the boat. Are you sure that you weren't promoted to Captain and didn't tell us :) ? Thank you for sharing your trip with us.
Always a joy to watch your videos, thankl you :) I am taken away by the varying levels of opulance a traveler can sign up for on these ferries. I for one think they are much more enjoyable than a Carnival, Disney or Princess cruise. But that's just me, simple things are what I am after and love. You deliver those in your videos :)
Thank you for sharing this lovely quiet trip with us. I missed curry and rice, it seemed like the food was good but not great - we have been spoiled :) Seeing the bridge and the strait during the day, from land, was wonderful, after seeing it so many times from ferries at night. Thank you kind sir!
Thank you for showing Japanese food which I had not tried much before. I have now tried some Japanese food from local restaurants here in Australia and want to try more, all because of your videos
Thanks for the great video. I love coming along on your travels. It is so interesting to learn about other countries. Your videos are a great inspiration for me. I am also trying to make videos about hiking. However, I still have a lot to learn. Greetings from Austria.
Kurashima Straight looks something like The Columbia Bar near Astoria, Oregon (USA). It's not exactly the same (it's really quite different), but it's close enough to wish I could get to Japan sooner rather than later.
Awww. I guess dinner was only okay, since you finished it but didn't say anything more. The ship was lovely, though, and I rather liked the rain morning even if it was a shame about missing the sunrise.
As one of (I assume many) the stressed out people who watch your videos, just wanted to thank you for posting frequently and giving all of us something to relax to that is both wholesome and warm. Brilliant thank you..Very relaxing after a boiling hot day in the UK..The ferrys are so impressive the food looks 😋
100% this ❤️
Beautifully said!!! I join with my thanks as another super anxious person who loves “escaping” into your sweet and fun videos!!! 🙏🙏🎉🎉 thank you for your work!
Relaxing and funny . This is how I like to end my day .
Saving a lot on therapy from this channel
All that for under 200 bucks? Alot cheaper and more comfortable than first class on a plane and bigger and nicer than a motel room. I can't get over how nice and clean the room is. Fabulous.
I wish my country had more overnight ferries. Seems like a relaxing way to travel. Thank you for your videos!
I love that every city is "know" or has a speciality in youre country!
Hi Prescillia
How are you today?🌹🌹
That cabin was so nice it makes me wish the trip was longer!
Thank you for taking us with you
For the surcharge you'd think it would be a longer stay

I love peeking at those places too.

I can't stop laughing at the moment you got to the fridge 'royal cold air'
😍
Too bad the sky was rain with no sunrise. 😔
The trip was very quick but the room was an apartment.
Thank you for a
🌠Video!
✌😎❤🇺🇸🤘🎸
Hi Terrie
How are you today?🌹🌹
That beef was quivering in fear... literally SHAKING, and you ATE it!
Adds another ferry trip to the bucket list . Hmmm it may be easier to move to Japan rather than save for all these trips ! Thankyou for all the work that goes into these videos.
I feel like with all ferries and sleeper trains, it would think it’s possible that you would only need maybe 3-4 hotels max for a week long trip.
Can't believe this room you were staying at is in a ferry of all places. Looks more like something on an ocean liner!! Might be too much room for one person, as you said, but I can't say it was a bad experience at all. My weekly serene moment is here!

Royal Cold Air! You got me laughing again ...
Thanks for becoming my Inspiration. Every month at my Day Off from Work, i try to traveling around my city and enjoy the ride
I was worried that I wouldn’t be traveling this weekend…..Thanks again for including us on your travels….
So calming. I'm just about to sleep but I want to watch this video first. Now I'm more relaxed. It's so stressful to me every end of the month, and it's already midnight and now I must go to sleep.
Thank you for always keep the calming vibes to your videos.
Haha love your remarks about the sofa print. You might be right, that design might be hiding the stains. 😆
Hi Andrea
How are you today?🌹🌹
Nice room! Bummer about the rain, though. That's the kind of room you'd want on a really long trip. It would be very comfy!
Thank you for making these! Me and my fiancé both look forward to watching a new one every week so thank you for never stopping, you’re the best!
I liked the bridge that was beautiful thank you for showing us your beautiful country.
Nice to see the bridge from another angle! As always, relaxing and enjoyable. I also appreciate the Google Maps view of the trip at the start, I'm learning more about Japan's geography with every video!
I highly doubt I’ll ever make it to Japan, so I appreciate this lovely way of showing me your country. Thank you
Its always a " getaway" for me when i watch your videos....it also takes the stress away....keep them videos coming!!!!! Thank you
It is so beautiful! The Straits
Beautiful day view… have blessed travels 💜
The cabin was so nice, a shame the trip wasn't longer. Definitely a ferry to check out for travel. The views in the beginning were amazing, great to know a bit about the local area. Thank you.
I have been watching your channel for months. Your videos take us to different places as if we were there in person.

I like this very much! Thank you for this cool trip! More, please!
Japan seems like such a peaceful country I’m dying a happy man the day I step foot there
Another great trip, and that was quite a nice cabin.
HAHA! That pattern on the sofa is the very same pattern I have for one of my door curtains! Hilarious! Keeps the sunlight out really well!
Always looking forward to your videos! Another great one.

Great content (as always), thanks for sharing! Royal double indeed looks like an apartment; the ship is very nice, but eerily empty... Cheers!
Thank you for sharing your travels .
I love your videos because they are so serene - I can meditate to your work. LOL
Thank you for the wonderful video! Blessings!
Thanks! Always love your videos!
Thanks for the super thanks!
Next video... STJ collection of ferry face towels... Since you have been on so many ferry trips...
Always enjoyable! Thank you for taking us along! ❤️👍🏻
thanks man. another evening well spent. I love relaxing with your vids. xoxo rick.
Your videos are great. I really enjoy watching them.
I enjoy your videos. The room and food were medium good, but too expensive for what you received. There was no tea or coffee service items in the room. Loved the view of the bridge and the observatory!
I love ur videos and I see it as a great way too see how another culture lives and travels
Very informative and an interesting video, thank you for taking the time to share. 🙏👍
That room was lovely but I feel like it would be wasted on such a short trip. Wonder if this ferry does any longer voyages.
I always enjoy your videos and I appreciate your sense of humor. :)
Thank you for the nice video again!
No tea and a empty fridge with no water or anything inside in a royal cabin seems weird to me.
To bad the rain didn't let you enjoy the sunrise. At least you it stopped before you had to get off, so you didn't get wet!
Nice socks Dude! Haha! Love those socks!!! I have a lot of different cool design socks. 👍🥳😁🥳
You should have gone onto the bridge to the first pillar and clapped. The echo is amazing.
Thank you for your videos. I am enjoing them very much!
Tell me more about the wash bowl and chair
Thank you for taking us on your trip! Looks fantastic.
Sorry that it rained in the morning, but the room looked great! Thanks for tour as always. Your videos always make me smile!
These videos are so calming and I feel like that should be weird but it's just nice and interesting.
Your videos are my favorite 😍 I hope I may take a ferry in Japan one day. Happy life to you.
I really enjoy these ferry videos! They help me relax and dream about traveling. I hope I get to visit Japan one day.
Thank you for sharing!
I can't imagine why the beef was afraid😆 Lovely video, like always!

Great trip. This room is suitable for family.
big like 2.6k!! thank you for sharing this peaceful video. I literally cannot wait to spend time in Japan. from your fan in Ireland 🇮🇪
I'm watching this just after one of our Washington state ferries crashed into the dock. Good to see you are in safe hands!
Lol thats funny recently i thought to myself that i didn't see a orange ferry in a long time. Now you come up with this xD
I love your videos, they're calming and entertaining. I await food section and after that I must eat something :)

The cabin is fancier than my apartment 😁Arigato gozaimasita STJ-san 🙏
The design is a very regal pattern. Not to everyone’s tastes, but I liked it. That stateroom is gorgeous.
Thanks for the great video. I love coming along on your travels. It is so interesting to learn about other countries. Your videos are a great inspiration for me. I am also trying to make videos about hiking. However, I still have a lot to learn. Greetings from Austria.
That is the way to travel! Nice
Thanks Solo Travel, simple n just well information, enjoy🌺

Wonderful video as always!
Thank you for your beautiful video so fun
That bed looks sooo comfortable!
Dude, your sock game is on point!!!
Awww. I guess dinner was only okay, since you finished it but didn't say anything more. The ship was lovely, though, and I rather liked the rain morning even if it was a shame about missing the sunrise.
Yummy food nice video keep up the good work
Aww id of gotten a round trip ticket lol- maybe on the return trio u could see the sunrise 😉
Thank you for a lovely video 🙂. Sorry about the 🌧️🌧️🌧️
Not a lot of people would notice, but you always have great socks.
