Sunflower again! That creepy creepy song. I was just thinking about it too and how I NEED to ride that ferry on our next visit to Japan and record that weird song. Thanks for your videos!
The great news is that, with Japan fully opening up now without needing special papers and permits, I can do all the ferry journeys you have done over the last few years in order to keep us sane.
Another outstanding video my friend - especially loved the joke about the eggs and the "for the video" comment. I hope that you will have many more videos to show us in the future
Not for 3rd world countries.

I love how you say @3:04 how the shops are closed and you have already eaten dinner anyhow. My first thought was "we'll see about that " :). I knew that you couldn't resist the temptation and after all it's for the channel !
I was thinking of you and all of the citizens of your country during the last week of threatening weather. I hope that you and your family are safe.
Always strikes me how clean your beautiful country is, hope one day I can visit.
Much love from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 ❤️
It's clean and beautiful because it retains its core culture and isn't overrun with jewish social engineering... yet.

A late-night snack and a beautiful sunrise - two important parts of a SoloTravel ferry video! 🍜🌅
Ooo, an actual ferry video, it's been a while.
As soon as you mentioned the vending machines, I knew you would end up buying something.
And, as far as I know, Swarovski is middle-high end, they can be expensive, but they're easy to replace... and I mostly know of them through bird watching binoculars.
If "Silver Tiara" has an actual silver tiara on board, does "Silver Princess" have an actual silver princess on board?
Came back to watching your videos after a long time. Glad to see you are still you... Your "I'm only looking" turning into a full-blown meal never fails to crack me up. 🤣🤣🤣 On a happy note, with Japan opening up to visitors again, my dream of visiting can come true soon. 😍😍😍
Hey, I wanted to thank you for the video. Your ferry videos are my favorite, and I love watching the different types of Ferry class, I htink its very nice to watch.
Always appreciate the way you allow me to view the world in a different way! Thanks!
Japan is so cool. I love the smiley face on the front of frozen food package......
Thank you for another excellent video. The beef meal looked good.
Everything is so clean and quiet. I want to visit Japan so bad. It’s on my bucket list.
More eggs, the Sunflower, and even a tiara. Another great trip.
Thanks for the beautiful sunrise at sea.
I always enjoy your videos! Thank you!
Looks like a fun adventure, and to practically have the entire ferry to yourself makes it even better.
Very nice, the interconnectedness of travel in Japan is truly amazing! I'm glad you didn't take the ferry when the typhoon came roaring through!!!
Your narrating skills are beautiful. I mean the text / lettering you add to the video. Just awesome. I love it.
Enjoyed the ferry and train rides. You had a nice cabin. Was surprised to see wash basins in the public area. The beef and rice reminded me of Yoshinoya. Definitely not into innards though. Will definitely see you and your apple pie in the next one. Take care/be safe.
I like the style and color scheme of this ship's decor! Looks small but very modern. And the bag holding eggs are back!
Wow that’s a fun design for a bag holder!
The food looks nice and the video was good too. Have a safe trip as always stay safe out there!.
Thanks for the heart and likes it shows that people actually read comments and like them thanks for the heart much appreciated
Here in the US, there are innards. My late father loved fried chicken livers, and my husband likes beef heart, tongue, souse, hog maw, and ponhaus (also known as scrapple). I am not a fan of innards. That was a lovely trip- thanks for taking us along. Safe travels, STJ- I am looking forward to the apple pie video.
are you from the Philly area? I love scra[pple and my grandparents ate souse, trotters and pepper pot soup.
Bleh, I can't stand the thought of eating innards. I never saw this or experienced it, thank goodness, but my mom told me her father used to eat scrambled pig brains for breakfast. None of his kids would eat the scrambled eggs because they were afraid they were really the pig brains! PS-- I had to skip over the part showing the innards-made me a little nauseous!
I like liver of any kind. Gizzards, to me, are tough and tasteless
I'm from Louisiana, a saying goes if you like something, don't ask what's in it. I like boudin, sometimes ignorance is bliss.
It is definitely a thing but I think it's declining more and more in popularity all the time.
Getting around Japan is quite impressive and feasible, your journey could shift from rail to sea! Effortlessly!
Nice tidy little cabin, good beef on rice, comfortable weather conditions - lovely!
how is it so calm and peaceful to travel in this part of Japan? I'm amazed ! Much respect!
wish USA was like this
@@ghhfgbbkufgh Americans don't have enough shame for it to be peaceful like this. They are too selfish with their own wants and needs.
In general japan shows how healthy it is for a human to be ammong clean and orderly environment. Just looking at it makes you relax
@@ghhfgbbkufgh There are places in USA like this, clean and orderly. Just not democrat run parts of the country.

Wonderful….another fun trip on a ferry. Thank you!!!
I'm excited to see how the channel will develop once Japan opens up in October. I can see people flocking to Aomori and Hokkaido for the Autumn colours especially.
Why was closed? Pandemic?
Apple pie sounds really good right now....
I'm from Canada... I love watching this video and others like it for sleep... or when I'm feeling lonely... so relaxing. Thanks for for this video...
Oh Apple Pie.... I have an apple pie in my fridge ready for tomorrow's lunch. Hmm , I won't miss a small slice will I ? Thankyou Solo Travel San once again. ❤️
It's clever how Aomori is blue in color.
i love these videos so much! i was just watching the last vending machine ferry vid and am excited to watch this one😊
This is such a fun channel. I spend so much time driving (which i do enjoy) that seeing all this commuting by bus, train, and boat is like magic to me.
Oh God, just seeing the Sunflower again got that song stuck in my head!
I miss Aomori. I used to live in Misawa, when I was in the Air Force in the late 80s.
I prefer cabins like that to those capsule beds; I need a door between me and others to feel secure. You really need to find what those table eggs are about! Thanks for what you do for us.
Someone said they were bag holders (you put the handle trough the egg)
'Im not hungry, I had dinner'... after couple minutes 'one night snack' but bought two :)
At last ferry trip with sunrise after a long time - thanks for another trip STJ :)
Thank you for bringing us along!
man i love japan so nice and nice people
Thank you for another relaxing, entertaining video!
What a good day! It's been sunny, there was a new Tally Ho boat video this morning, and now a new STJ video! And there's a SpaceX launch in a few minutes and the International Space Station will be passing over later this evening!
I'm an older man and would need a private bathroom, but that room looks like a good option for younger solo travelers. Unlike the capsules it has a real door with a lock, so you can secure your stuff. I used rooms like that on the trains in the 1960's. Who cares if it doesn't have a window, just use it for sleeping and sit elsewhere while you are awake.
But you can keep the pork guts. I would try most Japanese food, but I have my limits. Looking forward to the food video.
Love your videos. Gives me lots of ideas for when I visit Japan!
Thanks!
Thanks for the super thanks!
I love these Ferry videos! I would love to visit Japan and ride these Ferries, alas I never will. So thank you for the videos! I am also fascinated by vending machines, I'd visit your country JUST for the vending machines, if I could!
This is my kind of ferry! I especially loved the cabin, it felt so safe and i often feel a little lost when alone in a big room. Also, i could smell the apples! I live in apple and peach country (about two hours north of Atlanta in the mountains) where there's an apple house at every corner. All of the local people bring their homemade apple breads, ciders, chutneys to sell there, and they always smell heavenly. You are a joy to travel with, thank you so much for taking us with you! Lots of love from Cherry Log, Georgia 💖🙏✌️
The beef dish looked really good! Innards, or tripe, are also called "chitterlings" in the Southern US and "menudo" in Mexico. I would love to visit your country, particularly the historic village of Shirakawa-go! I don't speak Japanese so I am hesitant to go.
Also in the south they’re usually called chitlins
Everybody is so proud of accuracy and punctuality of Japanese train companies. But the actual travel time is so long even on short distances and beside Shinkansen very slow trains.
I appreciate your dedication and sacrifice - eating both the beef bowl and the innards just for us to see is very noble. You truly are a RUclips god!
Great video again makes me want to travel to japan😀
Another great video! Keep them coming!☺️
I would be totally content in that cozy cabin. I think I would have a harder time relaxing and sleeping in the pods with just a sliding curtain that we've seen in previous videos. You can't beat the security and solace found behind a door with a lock!
That's what I always think. The curtains give it a blanket fort type of feel, but that's only fun in your own home. Without strangers around. I like my privacy.
I think the "eggs" are there to hold on to if the seas become tough and people want to stabalise themselves
Another fantastic video and I love your sense of humor. Glad I subscribed.
your adventures always look so fun and enjoyable! i really enjoy your videos!
On to the food one, then hopefully sleep. I fell asleep at the start of this video after night shift Sunday morning, after work it's very relaxing to watch
Lovely trip as ever ! Tks for sharing !!!
This summer I returned to Japan, after 15 years and anyone would think that having friends in the government (not many, but some I have left from when I worked several times in this country in the past), would have helped me speed up the procedures, but it was not like that, I went through all the procedures and waited the required time (which I appreciate, since I do not like favoritism towards anyone) and, once there, I did PCR tests every day, to always be sure, since they asked you for them, especially being a foreigner... Other than that, I equally enjoyed the food stalls at Katsukura, one of my favorite restaurants, as well as the late night restaurants you find on the narrowest streets of Tokyo, Kyoto, the Nagoya's misokatsu and many more... Once again I was amazed at the efficiency of its public transportation... Again I marveled at its traditional architecture and extremely skilled carpenters (the best I have ever seen).
Without a doubt, it is a country that is worth visiting and I hope that, now that the country is reopened and the restrictions are lifted, people will return.
Love the tiara. Very nice.
Thank you for making all these wonderful videos for us, sir! 🙏
Such a interesting culture I hope to visit Japan one day. Thanks for sharing
Mmm, that beef bowl looked delicious, especially with the rice and onions!
Love the videos. Something cool to add would be a map of Japan to show where you are going from and too. Those of us who never been there would find it interesting. Thank you.
To answer your question about the tiara, Swarovski isn't very expensive. It's crystal, but crystal isn't that expensive. You're paying for the name more than anything else, and still it's far cheaper than real gemstones.
Swarovski crystals at $3-5 dollars EACH crystal are actually comparatively expensive, partly because their factory in the Czech Republic tightly controls the glass mix and the colours. Their highest quality line of crystal for jewellery is often used in making good reproductions of famous or very, very expensive items for celebrities who don’t want to appear in their real diamonds, or used by artists who design and construct custom clothing-like Olympic competition costumes, or for gala gowns. There are other crystals that are good, especially from Japan, and cost a little less, but the real cachet is in the Swarovski name and their proprietary colours and finishes. The name is a selling point in the product made.
The old Sunflower ferry reminded me of an episode of Himeji Sentai Gorenger that I saw here on RUclips -- part of it was set on board a Sunflower ferry, which I recognized from your videos :-)
Great video, and yeah I have eaten lots of innards when I was a kid and teenager. My grams had a farm, and when they slaughtered an animal nothing was wasted, everything got used, including the innards. 😊
Good evening i knew you wouldn't be able to resist food lol...It looks 😋 I'm not sure about the salty innards though..Beautiful sunrise gorgeous skies...Another great trip thank you
Great trip. For that duration ferry trip and departure time, I think onboard vending machine is suitable Rather than conventional onboard restaurant.
'Just looking' Suuuurre. We all knew damn well the moment those vending machines came into view that you were getting something. Can't fool us!
It's so funny seeing smoking rooms--I remember the first time I went to Japan. Not only did everyone on board (but me) light up as soon as the "no smoking" light turned off, but it seemed every man, woman and child smoked in Japan.
I really liked this you show everything and I like the view especially and the food it looks so tasty
This ferry seems kind of surreal. That weird tiara display... sinks in the hallway... the mysterious device in the lobby at 8:10 (is that a copier? why would a copier be there?)... vending machine innards. It's not creepy like the "abandoned hospital" ferry, but it feels strange--and probably more so in the middle of the night. :)
Wondering if those egg things would be hand holds for rough weather. If the ship gets hit by a big wave there's always something to grab. The egg shape being the perfect shape for human hands to grab at full strength.
Just came across your channel, intresting and relaxing, I'm now binge watching your vlogs, take care and stay safe , best wishes x
Beautiful view 😍 I love Japan 🗾
This was great. I can't wait to get back to Japan.
Not a big fan of innards, but they looked quite nice actualy. The room was nice, not huge or fancy but i much prefer this kind compared to the usual capsules. Here you had some privacy, better. Great video, thank you.
Thank you for telling us about your second channel. I would never know about it. Just subscribed 😊
Memories of Philipp J. Fry are coming into mind with these vending machines! The worm is your friend!
Thank you for sharing!
One of these days we need to get you an oven mitt for taking out the hot meals from the vending machines
"I'm just looking."
Wait for it...
"I'll try just one."
😁
Nice video. I learned some things. You kept me interested the whole time. I hear they get a bit of snow in Aomori from time to time.
I'm at 10:08 and I already know this isn't going to end well ... 😂❤
My chat and I loved this video so much, BUT.... were sad that we didn't get to see the apple pies :C 10/10 video though
14:48 - The tiara on this ship is not expensive. Many inexpensive tiaras are made with Swarovski rhinestones.
I know about this because I have a collection of more than 430 tiaras, mostly replicas of historical and royal tiaras.
✨your videos are magical.
That´s an elegant and clean ferry 🌿 Might prefer the rusty (but cozy) old ferries though. They have a certain charm don´t they? 😄
I love the purple chair in the cabin!
Great blog and travel review
yeah, innards are a thing, especially as chitlins... this wasn't a bad ferry at all given the price. Nice.
That subtle vibration would probably help me fall asleep.
Thanks for the video, I love it
LOL. You thought you wasn't hungry . But that food was calling out to you from inside the vending machine. 😄
9:07 Wow, they labeled the bottles of soap for you ST - Solo Travel 😉
I noticed that the departure port had a very nice enclosed gangway to enter the ship. However, the departure port had only a rudimentary gangway to exit the ferry. Good thing it was nice weather.
Hello, we understand very well that you are a professional and you want to show us all the different types of food😋 and you simply do not get carried away by any craving😅... hahahahaha🤣
That room looked good for the price, especially on a night ferry, since you only need a place to sleep
though it's a small room, I think the space is really just enough and it looks cozy enough to doze off in.. with the vibration, I had a similar experience when I travelled - woke me up in the middle of the night but after a while I got used to it
It's nice to live in a world where you don't have real problems other than am Im eating yummy apples or baby food today...
Thanks for posting!
