Thanks for watching
My mother, who adores this channel and the food tour channel, introduced me to your ferry journeys...we've been working our way through your older videos to catch up...this is my first time commenting -- That room is gorgeous! Great mix of modern and traditional. I've never thought to put cornflakes on dessert, but I want to try it now. That morning view was lovely. My dad likes that you always have orange juice with your meals.
Not sure why I love watching your ferry travel vlogs but I do and I find them very relaxing 💜
I just realized that I've memorized a lot of Japanese food names that I've never seen served in a Japanese restaurant where I live, just from watching your videos.
😅 Yes, same here! 😎✌️
As a Colombian with no Japanese restaurant near that serves more than “sushi” sameeeee
I never want your videos to end... I love seeing rooms, the scenery and of course, the yummy food!!! So so relaxing! Greeting from Puerto Rico! 🇵🇷 ❤️ 🫂
This ship looked very well maintained. The accommodations looked very comfortable and the menu had a nice variety. (But not as musically satisfying as
a Sunflower ferry.)
Just reading your comment was enough to put that song back into my head where it will undoubtedly be stuck for the remainder of the day.

@@bowtiejess80 AAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh
I have a friend who is in Japan right now for all of February. He will be taking the ferries just like you do to get around. So practical. Hotel and transportation all in one.
So much fun! I wanna go on a Japanese ferry. I want to ride the 40 hr one
Another relaxing video! You post them at the perfect time for me every Sunday night here in Spain. They slow my brain down so I can sleep after watching. Thanks!!
Again, my education in Japanese ferry operations and amenities is expanded. Oh and the food. Never forget the food. ❤️
I love LOVE watching the ferry videos, they’re so relaxing and wonderful to see! I enjoy seeing the different foods as well! ❤
I love watching your videos. If you happen to go to Shibuya Station, it would be wonderful if you could show the statue of Hachiko. His story is known to some in the United States.
No, 1:30 is not the 🌻 Sunflower song! But stay tuned to the very end! 😉😂✌️
It is a lovely ship, and it looks like you had a comfortable journey this time. The suite was very pleasant, and the food looked delicious. Thanks for taking us along again.
I love these videos my friend thank you for making them it's like we are apart of your journey Japan the places you stay at or mind blowing breath taken
I loved that suite the only thing is if I sat down like you did on that cushion I wouldn't have been able to get up. I love to look around these ferries I have my favourite Sunflower and now even wait for the song to sing along with. I also am going to try and make the grilled curry and rice
I love watching your videos, they calm me down before and after work!
Another pleasant journey with our favorite Japanese guide. 😊
I hope they have curry rice
I binge your videos when I’m having a bad day and it always makes me feel better. I love your videos, thank you for posting.
12:42 I love that you added on "Calcium" -- enjoying small bone-in fish like sardines, sprats, and kipper snacks is one lovely alternative to guzzling milk or crunching chalk tablets! That whole dinner looked fabulous. I also enjoy that two of your final items were konjac --- maybe cutting a few kcal there while still having a nice treat? Takoyaki (and friends of) were lovely, too.
Yay! A new video! ❤️👍🏻
I love watching the dinner and breakfast segments. I wish I can eat that kind of food.
Another lovely trip. It was a perfect way to relax and enjoy this evening. 🌞 🌼
Great views of water and your food looked good. Thanks
Happy the trip was going to be twelve hours. Gives you time to enjoy your suite.
Oh yessss!!!! Trip by ferry…….I love these ❤
0:52. FYI that's the Captain Harlock statue outside Kokura station.
0:58. Maetel and Tetsuro are next to him as well.
I noticed that. I first thought “that’s a rather dashing looking figure there.” Then I saw it again and said “wait…is that Captain Harlock!?” Then I saw Maetel and knew it had to be. I guess it’s true what they say, then. Anime really IS everywhere in Japan.
I can watch your videos all day long. Thanks for being such a great companion!
How interesting that the staff felt it necessary to advise people not to wear the pajamas to the cafe or shops. I can only guess that there have been such incidents in the past which is funny to imagine. I had a restaurant years ago and sometimes a few of my regular customers would come in for breakfast in their bathrobes.
I wonder if maybe they got some Americans on board one time. We can be notorious for wearing PJs (or “loungewear” if you don’t want to acknowledge they’re PJs) in places they’re not appropriate. Such as Wal-Mart…
In some traditional ryokans apparently it's customary for guests to wear their yukata to dinner.
@@jasonlescalleet5611 Good point, thanks.
@@notatallheng Thanks for the insight!
@@jasonlescalleet5611 Counterpoint: I'd prefer PJs to _lots_ of stuff I've seen folks wearing at Walmart, especially after 10 o'clock on a Friday night. :)
Nice to hear that the cheaper rooms are still quite enjoyable and you don't really have to splash out for the most expensive option to have a pleasant experience.
Great and interesting video. I like it as always too. 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for another lovely journey. I always enjoy your travels.
I love this channel. I love the accommodations you choose and the foods you eat. You've inspired me to start learning to cook many of the foods you eat on your travels. I just hope I can get the correct ingredients here in the USA. Please keep the vids coming. I get to travel and relax through your videos. ❤
First what song were they playing right before you went in to get your boarding pass. It sounded nice with a good rhythm. I would love that cabin. I love all your travel videos. I am a westerner, and was wondering if you also travel to sight seeing spots? Not necessarily the most popular, maybe some out of the way places that you think are nice.
As always a very enjoyable and relaxing ferry trip video. As soon as you said no ice cream at breakfast I thought “what about yogurt” and there it was! Thank you for bringing us along again.
I've told the English guy on the sushi counter in Tesco supermarket in Birmingham UK to watch your channel for food ideas.
What a lovely voyage! The room was so peaceful and your food looke delicious. Thank you for sharing your travels with us.
I really enjoy all the things you show me through your videos thank you for bringing me along on your adventures
Wow! Beautiful ferry!!! Thanks for posting your trip!! Cheers!
Gorgeous! It's always so soothing watching your vids, and I'm glad you had a good sleep.
My daughter and I watch together. We love all of your themes but ferries are our favorite.
Thanks for sharing the beautiful journey ! Love the light sabers and takoyaki and friends highlight. Always something new from your ferry ⛴️ journey 👍
Great trip. The late departure is suitable for everyone who need a longer time to sleep and who avoiding arrive at destination very early.
Very Beautiful Journey :) keep going .......
Did you see the Sunflower ferry??
Sunflower, Sunflower. 🎶🎵
Now the song 🎶🎵
Is stuck back in your head! 🎶🎵 🤣🤣
i love these videos. They’re so wholesome and relaxing. ❤
Lovely room, love the tatami floor. Great view from your window - that sunrise 😍
A very good selection of food to choose from but was surprised at the suite with the Japanese style with the western style
Thanks for bringing us along ❤️ and I agree, the deluxe was better.
Oh yay! I love it when you put out new videos of your travels! These different ferry trips are always so cool! Do you get to keep all of the pajamas you get from all of these places? Have you ever gotten sea sick?
i love that bridge, it is a piece of work. the biggest suspension bridge in the world .just magnificent to see.
Is there any place , train, or ferry you haven't been to or tried that you would like to? Most favorites? Worst disappointments? Thanks for another fun journey! 👍👏✨❤
Fixed it! 😍
Woohooo! New video! 😍 Thank you thank you thank you!!! 🙏
Big fan from México 🇲🇽🌮❤🍙
Hello from Barcelona!
This may have been your nicest cabin so far! Thoughtful furnishings, and so large! 😎✌️
Brings me peace, I love your videos. Makes me want to fly
To Japan just to ride ferry
Beautifull sunrise 😊 The woodbending looked scandinavian inspired? Very nice.
Very nice room! And a tatami floor too. I miss the feel of tatami under my feet. Thank you for another wonderful trip and thank you for taking us with you.
Konnichiwa !!If you follow (Dashcam Roadshow) he drives all over Japan, and he crosses the Akashi bridge several times in several videos. I also really enjoy your ferry videos. You and Shiba over on (Shiba Travel) do the ferry videos well.
Just love your adventures with the word Sunflower in my head.LO L. A Super Thanks for sharing.
I love takoyaki. I used to have 12 takiyaki in Osaka on a Saturday night near Dotenburi Bashi in 1996.
Thank you for taking us along on this cozy trip
Love your "Friends of Takoyaki" lol. I did watch the Sunflower video. It was really good as is your other videos. I look forward to them as soon as it pops onto my list.
I LOVE travelling with you! You have a good sense of humor.
I really liked that suite! And as an American, Japanese breakfasts always interest me. Stuff you would never see at one of our breakfast buffets. Soups, salads, raw fish..lol
That was a nice suite, on a side note as soon as you said Sunflower the dang song came into my mind.....
Perhaps I'm mistaken, but there seems to be more background conversations in this video. I like it.
I always have to prepare some food before watching your videos. They make me really hungry. This time I was well prepared; I made smoked mackerel on toast lol.
yes!
Japan has such amazing ferrys. Beautiful country
I like real key to open the door instead of plastic card with magnetic stripe, it feels more reliable 🥰
Thank you for a view of Japan most of us would never see .
Nice video. Looking at Kurenai, i hope one day you board another Sunflower ferry soon especially upcoming Murasaki. 😍😍
I look forward to them every Sunday night..
Captain Harlock and Galaxy Express 999 😍😍😍
Very enjoyable video! Great looking food too. Thank You for taking us along!!
that is a fantastic cabin solo. this is all i would need to be happy, + vending machines, and a restaurant.
I've been to Tokyo once, and can't wait to return one day 🗾 💕 thanks to you I know I need to try the beef curry, ferry style.
Seeing the beds always makes me want to sleep. Great advertisement 😄.
I hope one day I can take my daughter to Fukuoka as her grandmother was born there she is second generation Japanese American!
Super video, the tatami area with tokonoma was lovely, thanks as always for the upload.
"Sunflower, Sunflower" Brought back my nightmares ;)
Im enjoying your video so much. It's so relaxing👍🏻🙏🏻
The long hallways make me want to run! I would never, but I really want to! 😂
I always relax when you receive a key to the room. Yes, I think the suite is much better than the Deluxe. There seems to be warmth here. Tatami mats are on my list of things to experience. I'm sure I will be caught on the floor sniffing the rushes...would that be rude of me in Japan? Do you think they will object to me rolling around on the mat? This ferry was lovely. You seemed low on energy in this video... are you well? Or just tired? The video was good as always and educational. Thank you for sharing with us the viewers your diverse country.
O my gosh! 12.06 morning eastern time, I need to sleep, BUT new video will not let me, ok, I'm watching...
Make me wanna try and cry... Such a lovely floating hotel 👍🏼👍🏼
I save your videos for my nightshift nurse lunch breaks
Wait, was that a statue of Captain Harlock and Maetel? I just heard Leiji Matsumoto past away recently on Feb 13, 2023. He past away a week after this video was posted. I can't believe it. It's so sad and condolences to his family. I've watched Galaxy Express 999 when I was a kid and it was inspirational. It's amazing Japan had statues of his creation made in his honor. I had no idea. I hope to visit this place one day. I'm very grateful for your videos and thank you for always posting new travels and please stay healthy!
Nice! How do you like this ferry compared to Sunflower Beppu-to-Osaka?
Love your videos bro, they are really relaxing.
The best room I saw on cruise so far, came at high costs.
You can use "savoury" to express "salty & good".
I still have the sunflower song stuck in my head from that one video 🤣
I love these videos. So calming as usual 😊
Thumbs up for the Spring Roll.
Always love your travels. Your room was very nice, but then so was the deluxe room you stayed in before. I'm just trying to figure out what was "western" about the cruise. It seemed a hundred percent Japanese . .. perhaps I'm just missing something. Will catch you in the next one. Take care, stay safe.
I think it refers to the fact that the room had both Western-style beds and a Japanese-style tatami space. It's a popular style in hotels and inns these days, too--partly because of the growing population of elderly travelers who might find a bed easier to get in and out of than sleeping on a futon on the floor.
@@shirokumakogyo Thank you. Makes sense.
Also window draperies behind the shoji screens.
@@GinaKayLandis That's so you can open the shoji at night while leaving the curtains closed--a requirement when the boat is traveling at night. 🙂
I love your ferry videos it's very peaceful.
Okay I'm sorry, is that Captain Harlock at the start? Lol
Also, Takoyaki ♥
Wait... at Kokura Station, was that a statue of Maetel from Galaxy Express 999? 😮
I had a similar thought, but I thought it was Captain Harlock. Wait... I think you’re right, Harlock is earlier in the video.
