You can’t always use it just like the shield. Suit up with a shield , ear muffs , log sleeved shirt and some gloves and you will be fine. I don’t tighten anything with a wrench for the last 20 years either. A gloved hand works fine . Just unplug it first.

As you are advocating safety with this video just remember next time you mount or dismount any blade or accessory to the tool disconnect it from the power supply ,even if you switch off the power socket it’s still not entirely safe ,I concur that the finger wagging is unnecessary 👍
Mi opinión: falta el mango auxiliar de la amoladora, siempre usarla con las 2 manos, estos cepillos de preferencia se usan con careta transparente, o usar cepillo giratorio de alambre trenzado, para evitar que no se desprendan tantos alambres del cepillo, para esos cepillos necesitas guantes mas resistentes, la guarda de la amoladora no hace su funcion en consumibles o accesorios de forma de vaso o copa solo protege para discos.
Totalmente de acuerdo. El video está hecho con Muy buena intención y enseña cosas importantes para evitar perder parte de la anatomía!! peero....ese tipo de cepillo es muy peligroso. Mejor un disco flap, es mucho más seguro y ademas queda girando con el protector cubriendo cualquier desprendimiento; y hay que usar el mango lateral siempre. Unless you want your face to resemble a porcupine, you need to use a FULL facemask as well as safety glasses underneath. Those wire bristles fly off and impale your upper arms and you can hear them bouncing off your face mask.
The string from a hoodie sweatshirt wrapped around the brush and the grinder slammed me in the face and almost knocked me out. It ripped out of my hand and shut itself off if you know what I mean and could have fuked me up bad. I was lucky, then I cut all the strings out of my hoodies after that.
more important is"never buy a grimder with a paddle switch, they are more dangerous than the longer more traditional type grinder. had two friends, one dead and one cut up using paddle switch grinders one handed. two hands on grinders please
En realidad los alambres que puede soltar la carda con el uso no es es el verdadero problema,si no la usas correctamente se puede soltar la amoladora de tus manos y hacerte daño, asi que cuidado.

Some dialogue would be nice, or subtitles or even a big red "X" or big green tick on the screen. This waving the finger can be misleading.
Hay muchos mejores videos acerca del uso seguro de esta herramienta. Esto es una pérdida de tiempo y omite el uso de la agarradera lateral! Que pérdida de tiempo!
Bei dem Kauf eines Winkelschleifers ist immer ein längliches Teil mit einer Schraube dabei. Man nennt es auch Griff. Wenn man den in eine der dafür vorgesehenen Gewindelöchern einschraubt, hat man auch Gewalt über die Maschine.
Diese Art Videos sind für Leute gedacht, für die man auch auf Lebensmittel draufschreibt, daß die Verpackung nicht eßbar ist. Diese Leute sollten auch besser nicht mit jeglichem Werkzeug umgehen. Ich kenne selbst Leute, die gleich alles kaputt brechen, sobald sie ein Werkzeug anfassen. Am Besten kein Verleih jeglichen Werkzeugs an solche Leute.
