Everything about this is just beautiful. Rachel embracing Jun's culture and his family embracing her. Ugh I wanna cry. I want that!! God bless your marriage
One time I went to this new pretty expensive Chinese restaurant and they served us this sweet tea that that tasted like apple/green tea/mango. Idk what it's called but it was soooooo gooooddn
Rachel makes the mochi look really tasty 😄 In the video I hear the Nagoyan accent. My wife is from Nagoya and her parents have a strong Nagoyan accent. This video makes me miss them.
Is it weird that I find it really cute the way you seamlessly move from speaking Japanese to English? I speak some languages but I can't "move" that way, it takes a little while for me to switch language (=

In the Netherlands, we have the tradition to make oliebollen on new year's eve. Those are balls made of a doughnut-like dough, but it's not as thick. It contains a lot of yeast which makes really big air sockets :) You deep fry those and eat them ^^
This channel attracts a lot of ppl from didn't parts of the world and people who speak many different languages bc of all the subtitles on every videos! Yay!
Sakura mochi is my favorite kind of mochi. Sometimes I find it at my local asian market but they dont always carry it. They mostly have Chinese and Vietnamese things and very few Japanese items.
You're so lucky to have family members that can make something so deliciously unique! I actually love supermarket mochi, I can't imagine how good it must be fresh!
I love how Jun kind of turns into a little kid in this video. He must really love his family and he feels really comfortable around you Rachel, it's really cute.

thats not a normal rice cooker, so no its not in every asian's home.
