Rachel's getting cut story reminds me of my own, where I, too, got cocky.. while cutting onions... with a very sharp knife... and I was like "I do this all the time it's fine" and I wanted rings, not minced onions, so I was awkwardly holding an unstable onion with my tiny hands and well there went the tip of my finger (where finger prints are, not like.. the tip/top of my finger..). A bit of skin was still hanging on. 5 stitches, and now that tip of my finger is numb. Good times.

To answer Rachel's question at the end, yes. It is rather calming and lovely to watch kind, wholesome people like yourselves do even the simplest cooking or other day to day things. It's one of the best parts about watching your channel! Knowing what you like to make and saying, oh, yes, I like that too, or learning a new, simple way to cook something from someone else. Especially seeing you make something that, because you are in Japan and I live in the States, is very different from what I might make - your packet sauce that seems far more like something for ramen, whereas I'm more used to putting a ragu from a jar onto some pasta (as you are probably aware) - is refreshing. I am very grateful, after a long and busy day, to see a very soothing video from the two of you, it's always lovely! Thank you for sharing your life and your kitties with us!!

@@macysboringchannel that's nice, keep being cautious and you'll be good ^^
I too, have cut myself with a bread knife while slicing bread. I didn't know bread knives were that sharp. Now I know though.
My mom almost sliced off her right pointer finger with one of these at home bread slicing machines even though that thing had a safety guard and everything. I then had to patch her up so we could actually make our way to the hospital, fun times.
@@DieAlteistwiederda I nearly flayed the side of my pinkie once by bumping against the wall at the pizza shop I worked. Like, the skin was dangling off my pinkie. (The wall was covered in sheet steel and there was an edge from the angular piece covering the corner.) I glued it back on, and it turned out okay.
I feel like everyone has cut their finger on a bread knife at some point in time-
Whether it's as a kid or you're an adult, either way? Nobody is safe from the sharp bread knives.
Jun running to the store just for lime, everyone want a husband like this ♥️
Nagi and Pichi solution to hurry up food: Bite dad! 😂
Right? My husband too often goes out just to buy a thing or two because I want to cook this or that for us. Gotta appreciate those prestative kind boys. Makes cooking a delicious meal even more worth it I say. Haha.💖
18:12 Yes, I would love to see you keep cooking. It seems so much comforting with you two talking to each other and you make it seem like I can make the recipes too unlike Jun’s godly dishes,
Awe. I love how Poki answers back when you talk to him. Poor baby Haku though I hope he gets better soon.
I love the Gene reference from Bob’s Burgers. “This is me now!”
A common phrase in my house, usually yelled with arms up in the air.
Who else would love to see a video of you guys talking about different kinds of apples? 😍🍏🍎
That chart was awesome!!
me!
You've given me some great ideas to spice up my everyday cooking, Rachel. As a person who absolutely hates cooking and thinking about cooking, I appreciate simple but tasty meals like these. So thank you!
Whenever Poki meows, I FRICKING DIE ITS SO CUTE!
Rachel, I'm speaking for myself, but I just like watching you guys interact with anything, because you folks are just such good people. Anyway the cats are always fun to watch too. You know what it's like? It's like being in a Japanese tea cafe drinking tea with friends.
Jun looks a lot like my friend, especially when he does his “I don’t know what you’re talking about” and “I’m trying not to laugh but you’re so silly” smiles 🙂
That blouse is so pretty that Rachel is wearing, I wonder where it is from 😊
Date them Jun is so dam fine
I love seeing these kinds of more casual cooking videos! They always give me ideas of tasty but relatively simple meals that I can make! Also I love hearing Poki's variety of meows for food.
Rachel having trouble cracking an egg and Jun still congratulating her is so sweet! 😍
1:00 Nagi aggressively giving paw omg.
"It's not a phase, I'm just doing it for a while" I'm sure that's literally what a phase is LOL
The branch spoon is super cute!! I want to get one myself!!
I don't mind these types of videos! It's very relaxing to watch. I like to save them to watch while I eat lunch :)
13:59 Rachel: pokii are you ready for food?
Poki: meeh
it's so cute to watch (=`ェ´=)
What a sweet happy family
Thank you guys you are all so precious
Poki's blerp face is so cute!
I love Jun's enthusiastic sandwich topping and Poki's singing "meow (dinner!)"
Watching these types of videos is very comforting to me, some how feels like we're all hanging out with you guys and having a fun time. Love yours and Jun's personality and of course the cats ❤
Jun not realising his own teenage angst gets me in the feels. THIS IS NOT A PHASE MOM I LOVE TOMATO JUICE.
Hahaha, Chicana here! (American-Mexican as you say)...I feel honored that you guys, beautiful people (inside -and obviously out), enjoy eating Mexican food. I have watched you guys and love your vids. I love all your beautiful cats. Not too many couples are as awesome as you two. Great Job Rachel ,, and Jun too! ☺☺
You are posting more often now im so happy! when are you guys moving into the new house? i really want to see the final result, very excited
Not for a while yet, haha. We also can't wait!!
Omg poki at 14:05 is cracking me up!! 😂😂😂 my cat sometimes sits and looks like that too and I love how goofy they look
Poki meows are arguably one of the best intros this channel offers 🥰
Watching Rachel and Jun do anything is so much fun, they are a really great people and it makes my day when they upload another video for me to watch over and over again and it never gets boring !
"You learn, you learn." -Jun quoting Rachel
I love this phrase, I need to work this quote into one of my days somehow X)
OOH, Yah! Silpat !!! I just got an induction convection range with Silpats to protect the range top from scratching. The thin silicone mats also quiet the induction buzzing. Had gas stove that was difficult to keep clean so I gave up and donated it to a local church. So happy I got one for my nephew and niece.
It's adorable how Pichi and Poki are friends, so lovely
what we enjoy is seeing the two of you interacting with each other and the cats! it's all very sweet and homey and comforting. tbh you could just livestream yourselves putting together a jigsaw puzzle and people would probably still be happy.
Hey guys, since you're building your home don't forget to put an electric car outlet installed!
You may not have one now, but if you do in the near future, it'll be cheaper to do it now rather than later!!
We made sure it'll be available!
@@RachelandJunAdventures Y'all need to contact a RUclips channel called Fully Charged to see if y'all can be their Japan reviewers.
Wow the amount of politeness by saying "thank you" to each other. Sorry it was just surprising to me bc I didn't grew up in that kind of household and I'm just happy to see it.
0:39 Rachels laugh how does it sound funny every time
"I don't understand why you're laughing" This is so sad and sweet XD
