John - Funny, you should be doing a video about this banana bread in a tube. I saw this at Walmart the other day, so I picked up a tube, but I haven’t been able to make it yet - but at least now I know how it’s going to turn out. (LOL) I also saw a recipe somewhere online where you can add a tiny bit of Hershey’s cocoa into the batter and it makes a banana bread banana bread with a hint of chocolate flavoring. Might be an idea I’ll experiment with. Sounds good though. Also, I found (by way of experimenting) that if you use the steam and crisp function on either the Smart Lid or the Ninja Speedi, you don’t end up with those “cracks” in the top of the bread. The other day I try the STEAM’n Crisp with a Cornbread, and it looked like the cover on a food magazine. No cracks- no imperfections. In fact, it was almost too pretty to eat! (LOL)
That sounds like a good recipe... All I did was cut the end off of the tube and pushed it out in a 10 x 4.5 bread pan... Super easy and everybody here has enjoyed it...g baby approved
