4 suspects dead, 2 people injured during DUI pursuit in Inland Empire

- A high-speed pursuit ended in a violent crash, leaving four suspects dead and two innocent people injured in the Inland Empire Friday morning.
The pursuit began shortly before 2 a.m. when a Rancho Cucamonga deputy attempted to pull over a DUI suspect, a spokesperson for the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department confirmed to KTLA.
The vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit ensued until it collided with another car at North Mountain Avenue and West 16th Street in Upland.

When I worked in logging during fire season we would often be on early shift (out of the woods by 1 pm but star work at dawn), so we would be driving to work at 2 am. The only others on the road would be drunks driving home from a late night after party. To help the cops distinguish who were the drunks and who were the workers, we would wear our hi-vis vests in the car at 2 am.

I’m just happy no innocent people were hurt or killed this time around. The criminal driver just stopped a lot of future crimes from happening. Let’s just hope that whoever survived, is kept in prison where they belong. I just feel bad for the person whose vehicle was stolen, and the innocent people they crashed into… but at least they survived.

What an absolute tragedy, this is just devastatingly sad and awful. Those poor cars, one seriously hurt and one destroyed beyond repair, thoughts and prayers for those poor cars that did not deserve this. Now charge the 13 year old criminal with felony murder and lock it up for ever.
