Very good. Nice to see you referred to and used the lead in pin when routing the peanut without the fence. A lot do not.

Could you kindly do a video on the folding router table with the Makita RT0700. Can it be used with and without the plunge base? Thank you.

Hi Craig I’m really enjoying these router videos and wondered was you going to do one on trimmer routers. My kids bought me the makita RT0700 for Father’s Day and I would love to get the most from it, as I seem to learn loads from watching you and colwin 👍🏼👍🏼

Hi Terry, the following reply is from Craig - "Yes I can do one on the smaller trimmer type router in a few weeks." I hope this helps and it is great to hear that you are enjoying the #SkillCentreAtHome series! :)

Thanks for this. I enjoyed it as I am new to routing. But am I the first person to suggest the noise of the bandsaw/dust extractor makes me think you should use ear defenders there too?

Hi Roger, the following reply is from Craig - "Yes, you should use ear protection certainly for routing and long runs of work on powered machines." :)

If you have the fixed base in the table, why didn't you raise the router from above and change the cutter in the table. The Bosch has a buit in router raiser built-in, so you can adjust whilst the router is inverted or from above while using free hand!

Hi John, the following reply is from Craig - "Yes, you can do this with the Bosch fixed base, you are correct. However, I found that I was always having to clear dust from the hex so that my key would fit so I don't use this now. For me it's just as easy to adjust from underneath as I tend to crouch down for a better view of the cutter."
