Metallic black that’s what im doing to my cougar...mines a 97 v8 cougar and have that same trouble with my trunk and has been a big help to see it helped

Jesse Rodriguez I really appreciate the feedback! And I’m glad I could help, I found out a few months after that what failed is an actual product you can buy it’s called body line glue or something like that. So far my fix is still working but I’ll probably do it with the actual stuff at some point. Also I’d love to she how yours looks, I’m thinking of maybe going blue or red and perhaps doing two tone one of those with black

richdome1 thanks glad to help but the best thing for it is body seam sealer at a part store, this only held up 6 or so months
