You have been, and continue to be, a great source of information and inspiration. Thanks to you, I purchased an XRS chassis, which I love. I’ve also decided on a Strike Eagle, again thanks to you…and now a Grnd Pod. And I’m half way through your reloading course as we speak! Many thanks Piet. Keep up the great work.
you can get started for pritty cheap I did and now where I'm at is running a 1,400-1,600 set up and I'm getting 1/4 moa and better at range with handloading and about 3/4 with factory match ammo start with a savage 110 tactical desert put a break on it or a Ruger American predator go wild 6.5 cm and a vortex you can do it for cheap!!
I just gotta say Piet, I think your videos are such a valuable tool for shooters no matter their level of experience. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experiences!
I live how you you speak the truth about product and show the flaws or be nit picky on products. Too many people say things are the best invention since sliced bread just because they are getting paid to do so. Thank you for your honest opinion my man.
After a long waited back order my grnd pod finally came in, definitely happy with my purchase. I contemplated a ckye pod on Black Friday but as you mentioned majority of the time the bipod is only holding my rifle up between stages so couldn’t justify the ckye pod
Hi Piet, love the channel - its easily one of my favorite gun channels. Could you talk more about the 223 loading you use? Is it a bullet of 80 - 90 grains?
Your videos getting better and better and very impressive production values. Here in Kansas USA wishing I had all of the great long distance locations you appear to have. Thanks
Awesome shooting man! Id get way to much movement in the rifle doing double taps, need to get it more settled. Maybe it depends a bit on the action, controlled feed means a bit more resistance feeding the rifle.
This is incredible. I find it funny he's so confident in his shooting that he thinks he moved her turret too much and didn't pull the shot a hair. 😂 I definitely don't have the same confidence
Super awesome video! About that imposter syndrome, I fight it too. As an actor/voice actor, I’m currently taking a coffee break, while editing a best selling book I’m narrating. sitting here in my professional booth, I still have to affirm that I belong. You’re awesome, and I hope you feel like you are!
@@brandonp2324 I ordered mine 2/2/2022. They were very transparent with me that it was taking longer than expected to get the parts to fulfill their orders and I received it around the first week of may.
@@Q_PICK_ME I appreciate the response, I’ve been in contact with them as well but they just told me they would let me know when they had an update. Hopefully mine will get here within the next two weeks then
They need to come out with a nice $3-350 option. A little nicer than the GRND but not insanely high 7-900$. Atlas are $3-400 and that’s what most are willing to pay.
Bliksem Piet, daai is goed gedoen. Watse gr punte skiet jy om hulle teen 2700 fps te kry? En doen jy dit op n standaard Howa loop? Of het jy n barrel change gedoen met n vinniger twist?
Now that looks like plenty fun. Please could you explain the Silver part just behind your muzzle brake? Ive either missed the video and have no idea what that does for the rifle ?

@@IMPACTSHOOTING I prepare a muzzle brake (in dev for the moment) and I'll put a tuner on it too but still in Fusion 360 for the moment. Is it a MDT product or from your side ?
I've been isn't an Oryx for a couple years now. Never had a problem with the mag. Of course mine are the 308/6.5CM I've heard the AICS mags will work on MDT chassis with minor fitting
for long range, people usually load heavy bullets like 68 to 77 grains, most loads going 3000+ fps are 62 grains or lower. 😁 5.56 loads are usually loaded hotter than .223 loads too, and for those who reload, lower pressures extend the life of the brass cases.

Such a cool video Piet looking forward to more 🔥
I could not stop laughing at your reaction when you grabbed the hot cartridge. Good stuff.

I was looking to get one of those but decided on the Accu-Tac. Great video none the less. It’s all about the U

Thanks Piet! Love my Ckye-Pod, but looking at the Grnd pod as a cost effective back up! Thanks 🤙🍻🇨🇦
God bless you too! I appreciate that you said that at the end. Thanks and have a good one.
Good to see you back out there. Love the 223. Cheers
Piet on the intro shot clip....I recon you could do 3 in the air, i timed it, it will fit!
Whooopppppp can't wait for the new shop !!! Will definitely be there if it's open !
Can't wait!

Sick video, ordered mine in March still waiting for it. Hopefully it’ll come soon
Seems I am moving and leaving GP for CPT at the right time…. 😉 Impact Proshop opening in Durbanville and the MDT GRND-POD is here.
Come on down!!! /\/‘’’’’’’’\/\

Hi there! Cartridge? Good double shoots
Wat n lekker video, daardie bevredigende lag was die beste so om te sê ... ek is jou baas🤣
Awesome Shoot’en my friend.
Ordered this like 4 months ago and just got it.

That is absolutely amazing 💪🏻👌🏻

Awesome, that is a perfect video. Respect
VERY VERY GOOD SHOOTING BRO!!🏆👑
The Grnd pod will be amazing....if they ever ship it.
I have had mine for a few weeks and it is wonderful. I did have to wait a good bit for it but it was worth it.

I gotta try that double tap madness!!!
I see someone else also said it, but ok, next you have to go out further and give us a triple tap ? Now there is a challenge 💪🏻
Great shooting Piet 👍🏻
Hi Piet great video Is that howa factory barrel or a custom job? Many thanks
.
Bloody hell dis mooi daar, lekker Suid Afrika 🙃
My man!!! Nice shootin!
I call him... " The Keeper". Grade A shooting damn!!

Lekker vid. With some setup you can go out quite far there.
Top class content!
Such good content.
Do you ever use any Really Right Stuff products and if so what did you think of it?
I dont use them, but I have, they are legit!
... so thats the grn pod with a smallish cal, how would it handle 300 prc though ?

New part coming soon :)
@@IMPACTSHOOTING Awesome thanks Piet looking forward to it.
Flat out cool 😎!!
Who says you need a semiautomatic weapon? Nice shooting!
You're a good sniper direct hit dude very well.👍👍😳🤔
What grain bullet do you shoot in your 223
Any updates on your BAT TR builds? Can’t wait to see those in action.
Busy with legal action now
Baie, BAIE bly om die channel terug op n skietbaan te sien
Wow Piet
Wish your store listed prices in US dollars also.

Can you do a video on how to modify the polymer MDT 223 mags so that they feed properly?
I've been isn't an Oryx for a couple years now. Never had a problem with the mag. Of course mine are the 308/6.5CM
I've heard the AICS mags will work on MDT chassis with minor fitting
mate, which projectiles u r using for .224
That laugh
I see no recoil at all
Not like but loved it! Ty
Hi Piet, why did you load the 223 to 2700fps and not 3000+? Any specific reason or advantages therof?
for long range, people usually load heavy bullets like 68 to 77 grains, most loads going 3000+ fps are 62 grains or lower. 😁 5.56 loads are usually loaded hotter than .223 loads too, and for those who reload, lower pressures extend the life of the brass cases.

I know, right?
@@IMPACTSHOOTING my favorite was the beginning of the one shotgun video. Makes me laugh every time I think of it.

A optic.
The accutac doesn't have wiggle lol
do this again and see how many you can get off before impact
Triple taps is when people start to fumble on a bolt gun…try it!
The double taps are great. You should try it with the targets at two different distance. Nothing crazy just a hundred yard distance or something
👏👏👏👍🇧🇷
