I absolutely love your vision, when you tackle an empty canvas space…..You transform it into a calm, beautiful, serene, almost wispy place you can retreat to so that you feel tranquil and at peace. It’s the soft, muted colors that you pull in. I also love when you DIY customize sections/pieces of furniture to make them look like one piece. Absolutely stunning! 💖

I love the entire feel and aesthetic of the room. Love it. My favorite part of it is using an ottoman as seating for an office guest. I love it, love it, love it! It's unexpected and the best part is it doesn't block the clean lines of the desk and cabinetry behind it. I have a room off my entryway that is open (no doorway) and I don't know what to do with it. I don't need an office space, so I've only ever envisioned a seating area/extended foyer, but this has inspired me to rethink that space. I love that you can see your office in the reflection in the mirror. Looking forward to your next space!

You can also get rechargeable lightbulbs so you don’t have to connect your lamp and have to cut a hole into your rug.

Running an electrical cord under a rug is against code and a big fire hazard! Please don't ever take that chance and do that.

Yes! That is another great option for sure! So many good rechargeable lamps out there! I just find that the rechargeable lights don’t always give off enough light and I didn’t want to worry about charging it for this specific space

I’ve wanted my walls with trim like that my whole life! It looks gorgeous! I’m so happy for you. I hope you don’t mind but I took still pictures of it so I can enjoy it with you. You see I’m disabled and never had money to do this. I’m wheelchair bound and in a hospital bed a lot. Oh if I could only have a beautiful room like this to sleep in! Such an amazing job. We are turning our formal dining room into our office. We are not needing a ding room any longer. I love your paint choice but I also love mine. Red. It’s the only room in our home that has a bold color and I would love to keep it that way. Was hoping you could do a video for spaces like mine. Furniture and rugs that would go with red walls. I’ve looked and looked for ideas and just not finding what I want. Would love some fresh ideas.

Kristen, I absolutely love the rug and I don’t know why but I’ve always looked at plaid as masculine. But with the soft colors and the rest of the accessories it looks like it was made for this space. I know as a rule an office does not have curtains but since it’s your home as well I was wondering were you going to add some sheer curtains to soften the daylight as it streams across your floor while it adds even more femininity. It’s so pretty and can you imagine being in that room with a cup of hot chocolate when it snows? Ahhhh…home is really where the heart is! Thanks for sharing on this glorious Sunday!
