3 years on preorder through tough times in our world, it was best to be in line. Had to return brain chip remote, lit up but wouldn't control the endo arm and was falling apart. Got the Replacement remote and is fully operational now . The arm is made of hundreds of chromed metal parts.
8:53 in the movie T800 has hydraulic parts. you can hear they made it with electronics and maybe some gears.
hydraulic parts would be crazy and it is strong and would sound different

Wow looks awesome and fantastic that it moves however it's not actually accurate because once it's detached from t-800 arm it can't move it could never just move on its own in t2 when it was in cased so this is not correct it should not be able to move at all

Heeey Danoby, nice and entertaining vid! The moment you turned the base upside down i was like "oh gooosh...they did it again" because of the missing battery cover. 😊 I noticed that your arm does almost does not touch the tube when moving the fingers? On mine I feel like it almost scratches the tube. do you think i can modify this with the screws to tighten it up so that the movement is closer and not as wide? Really lackluster is the plastic base, it just does not feel right compared to the arm. Also when the arm moves the base is shaking and does not look / feel trustworthy. , maybe they decided to make it more lightweight because of transport.
By the way...you got it end of last year and only unboxed it out now? 😊 You must have unearthly patience or be too busy with other stuff that is more important!
Got it last year, way too busy. haha. The Battery cover arrives tomorrow! Did they forget yours? The fingers on occasion do touch the cylinder cover. Going to display inside my Max140 plus with out it.

Can you not manually tell the fingers to do what you want? IS it just set movements only?
It's pre programed movements.
@@Danoby2 Damn. Super missed opportunity. Imagine if it could download new movements like the Auto Converting Optimus Prime figure and do stuff like the iconic thumb's up or something.

I wish it didn't say T2 and branding on the stand, etc. It ruins it for me. We know wtf it is. And in the movie, it didn't say... T2 on it.

Hi guys , I hope someone can help me , I purchased this piece a few months ago from sideshow but it’s a faulty piece . It has stopped working . The connection was very loose from the lead to the connection to the arm . So I thought it might of been the power lead . So I ordered a new one . Unfortunately it’s still not working . Sideshow won’t accept a return of replacement or a refund because simply I threw out the foam from the brain chip box . I’m really stuck on this . This piece cost me so much money . Does anyone know who would take a look at it to fix it ? I’m in Ireland .

I don't mean to be a downer, but those exemplify why I've never bought a 1:1 scale Terminator prop replica.
Surely that can't be an officially licensed chip. It's very poorly made. It's obviously a rushed painted piece of moulded resin. The sides don't appear to be flat. The individual squares are rounded off, when they should be sharp edges and sharp corners. They've used gloss furniture paint, instead of the satin colour of the original chips. Worst of all, the metallic part is also just poorly painted material. It should be metal and it should have holes, like the original version.
The arm is close to the original, but it also has a bunch of glaring errors. The base is vastly different, too.
For the price they want for all these models, they should get it right. I have hundreds of photos of original Terminator movie props for reference. Licensed models should have first-hand access to the original props.
What are the glaring issues with the arm? It looks pretty spot on to me.
Check the prices for one of those endoarms on ebay right now....
@@Cyberdinemechatron I'm one of the people on ebay with an endo arm and brain chip for sale lol. The prices are high, but it took me 3 years on a waiting list to obtain mine, and now sideshow have completely removed endo arms from their website altogether (so you can't even go on a wait list now).
