I'm sure glad I watched this video. Thank you, John. I had started my first batch of Boogie Brew tea. After hearing Josh rave about the Ortho Dial N Spray Hose-End Sprayer I ordered one from Amazon, and it will be delivered tomorrow. Then I added more of the Boogie Brew mixture to my brew bag to make it tipple strength.
Be sure and tighten the sprayer to the inline filter well. It tends to leak otherwise. I wish the Ortho sprayer had a finer spray as it depletes the canister pretty quick.

John, I very much appreciate and admire your "purist" attitude in everything that you do, but have to side with Josh on this one. I wanted to apply EM-1 to a very large area and aside from my hand getting a bit crampy from having to keep a constant squeeze on the trigger for more than an hour, that Ortho sprayer worked like a dream for my purposes. It made the job so brainless and easy that I'll have no problems (primarily mental block) applying the product on a regular schedule. Of course your watering can would also be perfect for smaller applications too and I will definitely keep it in mind for if/when I start a container garden on my condo patio! Once again, mahalo for sharing this info about both of these great methods! Keep up the great work with your videos!
What about cleaning the little tube that goes from the container to the sprayer in the Ortho sprayer? You know that little skinny tube that looks like a straw leading from the container to the sprayer. Doesn't that have to be cleaned each time?

Problem I have is using hose end sprayer with chlorine filter lowers the rate even more because of the water pressure is lower from filter!
