2011 Volvo got the message on the dash. SCR SYSTEM FAULT ENGINE WILL DERATE. changed bellow pipe,AH modulator and Doser valve (7th injector) problem solved !!!
Most of the time they are clueless and they replace the expensive parts instead of starting with the cheapest All bout money too I fix what I can, share as much as I can ty for sharing I replaced mine about 1 month ago. I had no problems just performing maintenance
Doser valve is the one you showed next to engine. The one next to turbo is the 7th injector. It might be just the 7th injector that was giving you problems. But is good you change the doservalve
You don’t need to change the hole module sensor you can buy only the sensor it’s locate in the right side I think is 17 mm is like 120 dólar at Volvo dealer also change the after pressure sensor is locate on top of dpf filter after that if still don’t work change the computer & programmed
that muffler for this vovlo only costs $200 with clamps. he changed it because the guy in the video said there was a hole in it. you cant drive it around if thats leaking.
Be sure to clean your map sensor, Delta p sensor, egr, egr cooler, nox sensors, 7th injector and doser injector as all will get carbon build up causing false codes, bad mpg, not allowing enough heat to regen causing derate mode..can be a pain but plenty of walk through tutorials on RUclips or just find someone to delete it all but be careful afterwards for obvious reasons as it is illegal. Some say if done correctly noone will know and even pass emissions, and know that dealers will not work on it or worse they will reinstall everything and give you a huge bill

Its called a DOSAGE VALVE not dozer valve, it controls the amount def fluid that is imjected into the system.
Ur mechanic made good money the part he changed from muffler cost u arround 500 aftermarket. He changed tht just to make money.

Also if you insist on keeping the def system it would be wise to invest in the otr performance reset tool

Change your mechanic. He is not mechanic, but "PART CHANGER" ... changing parts until he got the right one 😂.
