Hearing “Run for your life” makes you think they’re digging up a really old song....it was only a bit over 3 years before and yet it seems like a lifetime by these sessions.
For me, the point is that music changed SO MUCH during those 3 - 5 years as opposed to now when music isn't really a heck of a lot different than it was in the 1990s.
I love The Beatles! I will cherish the music they gave the world until the day I die. I also love them because of the constant themes that can be found within the songs that were written. Love, peace, sadness, loneliness, confusion, boredom, wisdom and knowledge are a select few. The Beatles were four friends who were living life, having fun, being themselves, helping others, creating harmony, spreading motivation and universal love. To me, that is what it means to be a real rockstar. I love music and I honestly do not know where I would be in this life without it. Music breaks all barriers and it is the music that will truly save us.

It wouldn't surprise me, I got a copy of the Esher demos in the White Album vinyl set and there was a song that was entirely the music for "Jealous Guy". I honestly didn't know the music had been worked out that long before John put out that song. It was very interesting to hear.

@@mumbles215 I don't think the Beatles even thought about it to be honest. One of them would come up with and old tune and then they would all start to jam around it. Then they would get bored and do something else. What the Beatles had was the ability to pull it together if they wanted to. You can see that on the rooftop. They are pretty tight and the songs they did up there and next day in the basement studio are all tight......they were loose....unless they wanted to get it right.
Hope this bit is in the new Trilogy.....as it sounds pretty good....., nice to hear John and Paul still jammin with the Fabs... covering Run for your Life.....pretty funny.

There is no showing off in all their playing. They move fluidly from one song to another as is they had one mind. The singing is never excessive, it suffices itself. So yes the Beatles had their own grasp and personal understanding, definition, of music.
This is absolutely why a new set of Beatles tour dates would have been amazing. They'd have jammed out a different song each night and rearranged a bunch of their older stuff too.
