I've always thought part of my problem around the green is lack of creativity. I've been told by several golf buddies to stick with wedges around the green. I'm not good with managing height well, so taking the 9 iron as Ian did got great distance and did travel somewhat like Tyler's shot. It does look like it's rhythm and angle of attack. Time to try the 9 iron and maybe the 8 iron as well!
@@tylermcghiegolf Living in Manchester myself and knowing a number of Mellor's who can trace their ancestors back to the village of Mellor it was a pretty safe guess. In the early years of the industrial revolution, a lot of farmworkers from rural villages nearby were attracted into Manchester to work in the Cotton mills.
Think simple. Same swing, tempo, face angle etc...., thus same swing different club based on distance and ratio is much better for 90% of golfers. Get ONE maybe TWO motions down. FYI the closer it is to abbreviated full swing the faster you will get.
@@tylermcghiegolf no worries, just want to help. Love your content, just want to be able to hear Ian too, couldn't hear him at all yesterday. I reckon I should put a smiley face to show the humor I was trying to interject as well. Keep doing what your doing Tyler, very good stuff!
Sound left right is a little weird...thx for thr Tipps!
It helped!! Thank You

Yes sounds great Kevin. Yes finding what fits you and how you see the shot is key!
Ian, where are you from in Northern England, I would guess from your accent and surname that it's not far from Mellor near Stockport?
Ian grew up in Manchester. Good guess with Stockport. I''ll ask Ian if there is any connection.

Good segment and I’m enjoying your channel. You might want to tighten the message a bit.
Thanks Brent. We will work on that.
Ian’s mic needs batteries
Sorry if the sound was off. I'll try to figure out if it is on my end. Thanks.
