They have made "having the resources" the goal to be acheived and admired for the own personal gain as they control the money itself. The more materialistic they can make humanity, the more financial gain they skim and print from their financial control of currencies. Spirituality, identification with nature, what is natural, and normal natural values and freedom, are all contradictory to their goal of creating materialism which is not natural but is taught and imposed. Their financial gains are the theft of labor, the more materialistic one is, the more he will labor for things he does do not need. Great, insightful video as always on this channel. Thank you.
Mr. Bolsen, Sir, I am German and was raised Protestant but developed into an open minded philosopher hopefully, and I do totally appreciate your level of critical thinking. When you said that the Western civilization assumes a too negative image of the human which then causes all the predator behavior that touches me deeply and pushes me into a rethink whether this is really the core (mistake) of our Western or Northern “civilization”. Obviously, the history of war and colonization seems to prove you right but I think you forget the age-old dynamics between ruler and ruled, between powerful and powerless, between the 1% and the 99% when you generalize about the West. It you look to German villages of the past for example, there were living 90% farmers in the valley and only 1% in the castle above with maybe 9% merchants and soldiers around them. The vast majority of the population has almost no power and wasn’t predatory at all, and they assumed good in the fellow human being and celebrated it in many village festivals, plays music in all scales to all kinds of dances in all kinds of fashions and built beautiful cities with all kinds of inventions also because of mere joy of life and spiritual thankfulness for health, green pastures and nice weather. So, it was only a tiny fraction which never got enough and started all the global conquer and greed and don’t forget Islam spread out with as much terror as Roman Empires or Christianity or Dachingis Khan or Chinese Emperors. So assuming your fellow human being be of a bad nature is rather a game of power elites everywhere not of a certain geographical region or the masses.
I am sorry but the Islamic spread was no where near, the barbaric colonisation of the west. Conquests and colonisations can differ. The way islam spread was truly a spreading of gods message. Not like the west, that used religion as an excuse for their greedy desires.
So, on point 💯 it's a very skewed view on human nature based on materialism, and they play it out, but it is completely innacurate, most humans are inherently good intentioned, for the most part.
Iceman Inheritance or "Latitude Attitude" type theories have been put forth by many scholars like Michael Bradley, and Dr. Edwin Nichols for decades. Nevertheless, there is some powerful insight here from Mr. Bolsen as always. I learned from Dr. Nichols that the "Western" negative view of humanity comes from limited dichotomous thinking that brings forth questions like, "Are human beings good or evil?" "Is it nature or nurture? And ideas like "All or nothing. And so on.
Whew. I remember when I first read the iceman’s inheritance and how it completely blew my mind. Your take and addition on his theory is incredibly insightful and profound.

Great commentary....the part when you talk about critique, which is looking to improve the out come of an observed behavior in a positive way is so on point. Please keep bringing these talks, spewing wisdom. Now that UN petition, Where can I sign on. I'm in.
The US has over 60 million laws on the books. The book is called Three Felonies a Day by Harvey Silvergate. Most Americans commit three felonies a day without knowing it.
5:13 I also believe that the sum of laws is also for the goal of keeping everything grey. They have laws that negate one another. To maintain tyranny, things can’t be very black and white like in Islamic law. It’s all convoluted for a purpose.
The Leviathan defines society as a monster to be dominated and compelled to become civilized. Funny concept coming from another human. Maybe Freud with his Civilization and its Discontents did not blame the victim, but instead, put things in perspective. My two cents.
China at one time deleted infant girls years later, then implemented the 1 child per household preferably a boy. Now so many single men cannot find wives as a direct result of that policy. Strict laws that doomed them
The problem is that in the West and especially North America, the education system (school, PR, marketing) teaches us all our lives to BE savage. It takes all our lives and often fails, but it works just often enough to give the tyrants a justification.
Thank you... Edited to add: I had concluded that people are dangerous and evil. And then the Arab and Islamic states were brought to my attention. They've shown me that everybody is not us. Everybody has faults but everyone doesn't desire to do evil. Everyone doesn't desire to prey on people. Edited one more time to add: I'm 42 years old, I'll be 43 in a couple months, and I've never heard that criticism is an opportunity to sit down and reflect. That's not what we do. As I learn better, I do better.
That wasn't the idea in 1776. They wanted to get away from feudal tyranny. But government overreach has worked its way into every single aspect of daily life.
This is the flaw in the presenter's arguments. He raises legitimate points that should cause us westerners to question our beliefs, values, society, and governments. But he attributes the ideals of Islam to be universally adopted and acted on by all Muslims. Yet, the economic and political elites among Muslims and the commerce driven nations of the Muslim world act exactly the way the western nations and societies act.
i would prefer justice and fairness over freedom..because justice can provide safety and maintaining wealth through principles and ethics.. if people use slick tactics in trade, everyone else will try slick tactics too.. that is not sustainable for a long time ..
Subhannallah and the truth is many of us Muslims who grew up in the West have a lot of this propaganda ingrained in our perspectives... We are defensive, blaming, and self centered and inshaAllah we can continue our inner jihad to fight these whisperings
Really good points about the negativity yet we also have the highest trust cased societies too. My experience at least in Europe is that people will tend to see the best rather than the worst. However there is always a need for bogieman, maybe that is a western idea, personally I prefer working both towards good and against evil. Both are motivational forces.
Concept of keeping the "nafs in check" . Which in itself is so robust and nuanced they would just take a reductionist and plain literal approach to it. Because it requires compromising on many aspect of dunya, which they would hardly want and go through the transition. Just imagine when they say and believed Jesus died for their sin, so they live in denial, even though they know it very well why any sane individual would think that way and why Jesus pbuh would do that when he came with THE message to reform people for their stray ways. Even then they found out excuse to twist it and make it convinient and to be comfortable in their skin, so that they can continue with their abhorent morals and values.
Although I agree with many of his points, I find nothing base or ignoble in seeing human beings as animals. Animals are neither good nor evil, and so the term "animalistic" carries no shame. Yet at the same time, animals vary amongst themselves in what they do, in how they live. Spiders spin webs. Bees produce hives and honey. Beavers create dams and lodges. Human beings are animals who tell stories about themselves and about the world, and who struggle by various methods to understand themselves and the world with more honesty. We are one species amongst many others, but we have our special aptitudes, our special aspirations. I feel no shame in being an animal, but I do feel shame when our species characteristics of thought, empathy, cooperation, and invention are blocked or denied by people in power for the sake of their power.

There is a tall person in short people's genetics and vice versa.
My friend, we did not come from monkeys. Man did not invent himself. It was Christ who formed us and then breathed the spirit of life in Adam and man became a living soul...a living being, Genesis 2: 7. How do we know it was Christ? John 1: 1-4.
So much wisdom in this video. Thank you 🙏
Humans are capable of both good and evil 🎤
The western white man is Not capable of any good at all, just deceit and evil
Brother Shahid very articulate in his subject with intelligent answers! 👏🏿👏🏿🤲🏿🤲🏿🤲🏿 💯
You're almost right sirrrrrrr. You fall short in your stating humans are inherently "good" in nature. Keep Going and you will arrive at the 🌞
"Do what thou wilt." is not freedom. It is slavery to self. To narcissism. To nihilism. To surrender.
And to the Adversary
So, on point 💯 it's a very skewed view on human nature based on materialism, and they play it out, but it is completely innacurate, most humans are inherently good intentioned, for the most part.
Thank you so much sir 🙏🏽
Yeah it’s always a loud minority causing all the problems.
no, its human nature based on recorded history
Another excellent analysis. Thank you brother! 🙏
Original sin...
"The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws."
~ Tacitus
Sounds like the revived Roman empire.... right 😅
God bless you brother Bolsen ❤
Thanks for the analysis
Iceman Inheritance or "Latitude Attitude" type theories have been put forth by many scholars like Michael Bradley,
and Dr. And so on.
Don't forget Dr.Llaila Afrika and Frances Cress Welsing. After studying their work,it will make sense of everything that they do
@@dericnorman7741 Yes indeed.
"Strict control by the state. Otherwise people will all be wild and savage."
Thomas Hobbes - LEVIATHAN.
Year. 1651.
Exactly!
Whew. I remember when I first read the iceman’s inheritance and how it completely blew my mind. Your take and addition on his theory is incredibly insightful and profound.
those in 'charge' create division among us, it's this division that manifests itself into the appearance of what you speak of. that and the corporate privatization of the incarceration facilities.
Shahid is brilliant. He is right. On everything.
Once upon a time Freedom meant a healthy mind working and functioning in proper order with whatever and whomever it interfaces with. Where are we now?
the same as we ever where
As Americans we are at a threshold of avoidance what can happen if we don't think about our Future we will destroy ourselves while certain others sit back & watch
Great commentary....the part when you talk about critique, which is looking to improve the out come of an observed behavior in a positive way is so on point. I can attest to how the party I was engaged with, went on the defensive, missing the entire directive as to what the conversation was really about. I had to throw my hands up and realize they just weren't or care to focus on why the conversation came to be. I listen to your dialogue on various topics and come away with fullness. Thankyou.. Please keep bringing these talks, spewing wisdom. Now that UN petition, Where can I sign on. I'm in.
Last 3 min were gold, very insightful!
Beautifully said.
Civilization has become less than civilized
The white man was never civilized. He was a savage from the beginning, now we are at his end and he’s still the same savage from the beginning
It’s called de-humanizing so you can do de-humanizing things like what they are doing in Gaza.
The US has over 60 million laws on the books. The book is called Three Felonies a Day by Harvey Silvergate. Most Americans commit three felonies a day without knowing it.
Thank you 2:42 I’ve always thought this . Descendants of that civilization because there are many similar traits.
I am quite confident that the Earth's biosphere doesn't see us as noble and honorable.
Do you need its approval or something?
T.y. for all your sweat equity in educating that surpasses the umma🎉😂❤❤😂🎉
Thank you for quality content!
Spot on
The ultimate freedom is attainment of the state of ihsaan.
5:13 I also believe that the sum of laws is also for the goal of keeping everything grey. They have laws that negate one another. To maintain tyranny, things can’t be very black and white like in Islamic law. It’s all convoluted for a purpose.
T.y. mate, that's a good point.
there is much i do agree with you mate , greets australia for its worth keep up the work 👍
The Leviathan defines society as a monster to be dominated and compelled to become civilized. Funny concept coming from another human. Maybe Freud with his Civilization and its Discontents did not blame the victim, but instead, put things in perspective. My two cents.
Freedom from slavery that's what the original idea was. It changed and became something very different today.
自由是妥協的結果,想做什麽就做什麽是蠻荒社會。中國現在做到沒露宿者,非常非常低罪案,女人小孩深夜四處逛不怕人身安全,那才是真正自由。
How do you define homeless?
China at one time deleted infant girls years later, then implemented the 1 child per household preferably a boy. Now so many single men cannot find wives as a direct result of that policy. Strict laws that doomed them
The problem is that in the West and especially North America, the education system (school, PR, marketing) teaches us all our lives to BE savage. It takes all our lives and often fails, but it works just often enough to give the tyrants a justification.
Their greatest export is culture. That culture has to be manufactured inhouse. So all we see is a performance of freedom.
Thanks!
Thank you!
Gratitude
That wasn't the idea in 1776. They wanted to get away from feudal tyranny. But government overreach has worked its way into every single aspect of daily life.
Well, it's more of an oligarchy than anything else. They control our government...there's strings attached.
Lots of materialism in Dubai and poorer foreign workers exploited
Dubai is a western civilization in the east that's all
This is the flaw in the presenter's arguments.
On point
Everything Shahid said is on point and true I call it European behavior
i would prefer justice and fairness over freedom..because justice can provide safety and maintaining wealth through principles and ethics.. if people use slick tactics in trade, everyone else will try slick tactics too.. that is not sustainable for a long time ..
More coffee visuals plz
Thank you for explaining European Kufur
Wow, always breaks it down!
Yes, this is true,
Recently, someone in the EU, referred to it as _
" The Garden, and the Jungle"
The mediocre expect that everyone will become animals because they know their true selves.
This is so true 👏🏾🙏🏾
Thank You 😂For Coffee Time ….Nice To Talk To You ……🌞🎉
More laws(policies/acts) don’t mean more morality.🧐
Facts. God bless ❤
MashaAllah Alhamdulilah
Michael Bradley's book, "The Iceman Inheritance" touches on the same points..
This is so damn true.
amen on the unspoken asumption. and agred. its erampant. people dont think people want to be good.. its crazy I think.
The Vail has been lifted we will unite crips and bloods the army of God
Is That Called “Thinking “..?….About Humanity…Sad For Them ….🌞
They cant make money if your good
He reminds of Michael Bradley "The Iceman inheritance" that book is a classic on describing the European thought process, it's warped.
Accusation so often being confession...
This is absolutely true. His understanding is incredible 🥹
