I found this talk to be the most down to earth, common sense fact based talk I have heard in a long time. The warning on restrictive diets that Emily gives, just rings true with me. I am a 61 year old male , who will be going shortly for a genetic test for LS because of the high incidence of Colon Cancer in my family. My doctor advised me strongly to have a Colonoscopy also, which I am doing. I started a few weeks back a low carb diet ( restrictive. Also intermittent fasting.) The weight is falling off and I feel fine, but intuitively it does not seem right. Lots of meat, but little veg and no fruit, does not seem the way to go long term. So tweaked it and cut way back on meat and increased the veg with a little fruit. Intermittent fasting works great for me, so I've kept it , because it is very flexible. On listening to Emily, regular exercise, which for me will be walking as it is something I will enjoy is my next urgent priority. Thank you very much for this talk, it is very inspirational at a time when I need it John
thanx for sharing. i took the other approach i switched to "plant base diet" with no animal foods. no processed foods. i cook or cut my own food. and excise regularly.
I just came across this wonderful lecture and has been said by others, this is the most straighforward talk I've ever heard on the subject. As someone diagnosed with Lynch and having experienced two cancers the information contained in this video it incredible helpful. Thank you.

What is Kefer? I never heard of it
It's a ferment milk drink, similar to yoghurt. It became very fashionable recently together with Skyr which is an Icelandic equivalent.
just noticed...she is a dietician drinking a diet Coke...I thought soda was really bad for us.
