    I just did my oil pan on my inline 6. What I really want to say is keep up the good work. I'm glad a young person is taking the time to work on old cars. Awesome.

      Thanks I really appreciate that. There’s a lot more classic cars I plan to buy and restore some day.

    Great job....I so much appreciate your videos. I just got a 1965 inline 6 cylinder 1 month ago. I am watching your videos as I do the same repairs to mine. My mustang sat in a garage for 25 years. I am trying to get it back on the road. Love your videos!

    Hey brother! My 66 mustang sprint 200ci just started stalling at idle. It drives fine but when I get to a light it’s barely turning over. And stalls. Would you have any suggestions what to do first? I can do basic tune up type stuff but not an expert. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks.

    While watching this, I noticed that it looks like you have disc brakes on your car. Did you do the conversion from drum to disc? If so, did you video the conversion? I’m considering converting to discs on my ‘67 and would love to see how it’s done. Great videos!

      No the previous owner did the disc brake conversion before I bought the car

    Hey man was the Holley a direct fit ? Or did you have to modify anything ? I have an autolite 1100, and it sucks. Wanna put in a Holley 1940, but I’m not sure if imma have to change anything

    • @autoraysgarage8938
      @autoraysgarage8938  3 года назад

      yeah the holley 1940 was a direct replacement for the autolite 1100 back in the day

    Hey! Quick question, My 200 started go idle high. Wondering if the fact that it got colder has anything to do with it? Any idea where I can start to diagnose?

    • @autoraysgarage8938
      @autoraysgarage8938  3 года назад +1

      Does it spike high then goes back down or does it stay running high? You can adjust the idler mixture screw on the carb

    • @j.anthony3571
      @j.anthony3571 3 года назад

      @@autoraysgarage8938 it stays high, when I start its the normal high idle. Then I hit the gas and it usually will idle much lower, but its not as low. Even a little higher in drive. Just not sure if it was idle screw or a timing issue.

      @@j.anthony3571 have the car running and back the idler screw down till rpms seems to idle at normal range. I plan to add a aftermarket tach to my car some day that really help dialing it in more

      @@autoraysgarage8938 thank you good sir! Yes if you add that tach meter please do a video on it. I plan to do so as well! Keep um coming and best of luck with your build!!
