I just got one of these for our RV to supplement the weak stock electrical system we had.
It’s a really good bang for your buck in my opinion.
- I do recommend taking the little Allen wrench and tightening every screw in the unit and if your smart use Loctite. I found that most of the screws were loose.
They also make a 280 AH battery DIY kit that lets this thing live up to full potential. It takes a few hours to put it together and then you have almost 3x the capacity of a 100AH battery that you used.
Yeah that looks pretty sweet. I’m a little hesitant to have that much heat in a small space without a fan. I know that batteries don’t generate as much heat as the inverter but I really wish it had a built in fan.
@@RealitySurvival Actually, the case does have two built in fans.
I just completed my assembly and top balancing the batts and I am getting 288 AH out of my first trial discharge.
One think I liked the most about it is the use of the Anderson connectors that are rated for a full 50Amps so I can add additional external solar charging, or my own fast AC charger, or just connect to a homemade expansion power box. I’ve rigged up a cable so it can be an additional power tap directly into my RV 12V system when we’re boondocking.
I do concur. The 2.5 mm hex screws on the rear plate aren’t going to survive many open/close cycles. Those fine pitch threads can’t possibly take more than a few trips in that aluminum extrusion Chanel they are in. I’m thinking of replacing it with all thread posts and nuts/thumb screws kinda like you suggested.
@pchris6662 really? I don’t think mine has any fans. It has two fan holes. But nothing behind them.
@@RealitySurvival Yup. The fans are in the front panel, thermostat controlled. The back holes are the “GoesOutta” holes.
@pchris6662 right on. I will have to check and make sure mine has them. I really didn’t see them up there. That’s great it does!
I would want the battery compartment to be bigger to hold a 200amh battery and a larger charge controller.
Great Content, I really appreciate your time.

The reason that surge protector (and many others) is rated 1875 watts is max 15 amps. 15a times 125volts =1875. So don't go over 15 amps on the surge protector. Thanks, JJ!
What size is the batt compartment? That is if I have 2 smaller batteries to try and fit in there, what would be the max compartment size for the batteries?
Specs are on the website I believe.
for the algorithm.
OK ANY FANS
Not sure what you are asking? Will it run fans? Yes. Doesn’t have fans? I don’t believe so.
How can I run a Blue Seas DC distribution box in a small trailer while charging box using Anderson port? I wouldn’t want to use the 12v cigarette as that is limited to 10A and ideally I’d like 25A minimum to the DC distribution box?
Also, how loud is it?
Is there any 12 volt 200 amp battery's LifePO that fits the 2000 and what are the internal dimensions of the box ?
I’m not sure on the 200 amp hour battery. Some companies are making mini 100amp hour batteries now. You might be able to get two of them in there. But the company does sell a battery kit with a higher capacity. I’d check their website for that info and the internal dimensions.
