Has anyone had a problem with your battery losing voltage quickly with this unit. I have a 100 amp Litime battery and it drops under 10.6 in this unit even when i charge it with solar while i am powering a fan.

You could place on the outside a 300 AH battery. I do like the idea of using something like this. For say a refrigerator backup.

I passed on buying the Licitti battery boxes because of the inverters they use. I'm not a fan of inverters that do not deliver 120vac or sag under a load. Even if it delivers pure sine wave the voltage sag can cause problems with some appliances.

The one thing I like about these boxes is you can fix them if something goes bust. A regular power station not so much. I agree not worth it unless you can put in the other battery kit you mentioned.

Nice review. TFS your honest thoughts. I do like the idea of using your own battery. Looking forward to seeing you build a battery

The biggest reason to avoid the unit is that it uses short lived, low surge, high frequency, transformerless inverter technology. High frequency inverters lack an iron core, copper wound transformer that would provide galvanic isolation to protect your AC loads from possible exposure to dangerous high amperage DC current. All high frequency, transformerless invert1ers off short life expectancies, a poor surge capacity, and are potentially dangerous. A much better choice would be to purchase a low frequency, transformer based inverter charger.

Great review. What was the 160 amp hour battery that you had in there previously? And will That 160 amp hour battery fit in the original 1000 watt version
