For the metal wine rack you could just stock it with glass sparkling water like topochico or Perrier. Or I think I’ve seen someone do glass coke bottles even.
For that black wire shelf/thing on the side of the cabinet you showed at the beginning, you could do some long/draping plants or like a little herb garden in mini pots!

I prefer to have the trash can out and to the side of the counters just like you have it. I know so many people who have their trash cans in a pull-out situation in the island but the annoying part of that is it always seems like someones standing in front of the trash section whenever you are trying to throw away trash
Me too! Or if you go to someone’s house and you can’t find it I never want to just open random doors/drawers to find the garbage, it’s easy to find when out and visible!

For the black wire rack I wonder if you could hang some cute neutral colored gingham or plaid kitchen towels? I also saw someone comment suggesting a small hanging herb garden and I think that would be adorable!

Ooh, make it a propagation station! Find glass jars that would fit with a bigger rim so it doesn't fall through but I love that idea!
I prefer the trashcan To be hidden. We have a double trashcan in a cabinet. One for trash and one for recycling love watching you and yournrw house.
You can put mineral water in the wine rack holder you can get the glass bottles from Costco
you could put the coffee beans in cute jars and put them on the wine rack

Those bottles next to the coffee maker are bitters bottles. I think they’re meant to drip a little liquid into alcoholic specialty drinks. I nearly purchased those too but ended up purchasing crystal oil and vinegar
dispenser by Godinger. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on them and they dispense the perfect amount of coffee syrups
I’m a trash can out kinda girl. I feel like in a cabinet it would make it stink permanently🤣

Can you list the cooking books you have on your counter and shelf?
I thought Iwould like my trash can hidden. It makes the kitchen look better and cleaner. But now that we have it , its a pain to keep opening the cabinet every time we need to throw stuff away. It is also ruining the wood on our cabinets from food, oils, liquids etc on your hands and the trash itself. Maybe if they invent cabinetry with a remote lol! It would be easier to clean a remote.
It may be "cheaper" to buy your coffee off Amazon, but you should definitely consider supporting your favorite local businesses by buying direct! Local businesses are so important to the economy but they won't survive if we only use them for inspiration and then buy off Amazon :/
