Great content Jenny. Just to add a little, you do not need experience to go through the evaluation and registration process to take the NCLEX to become a USRN. You only need experience to apply for a job. Even some agencies will hire you as a new grad and so if you're a new grad , just start the process and pass your NCLEX. By the time you will be done, you will have gotten some experience 👍. You educated me guys. God bless you!🎉
Very very useful information. Am a UK RN having qualified in the UK 12 years ago. Over the past 4 years, my work has been mainly bank nursing in a mixture if specialities both in acute care and community outpatient departments. Prior to this, it was all community outpatients. Will this experience all count or will they only consider the acute hours? Which board would you suggest for me to apply to? Currently completing the initial CGFNS forms and unsure of the board to choose. Thanks for the tips.

Hi Doreen! For NCLEX- you can use Kaplan, uworld, mark klimek, etc and for ielts - I made a video on that. See link below ruclips.net/video/40SW68PjRF4/видео.html
Hi, im a nurse moving from the UK to the USA. I really dont know where to start. Do you have a step by step guide on where to start... like job, then visa, the house etc? Also do you have information about purchasing a property over there !
Please can you share the link you used for UKRN verification for CgFNs? And also I got a form from cgfns to sign and send to nmc uk.. how do i ho about it
This video is very informative thank you, I have gone through CGFNS website, and I see they require me to pass a CGFNS-exam, what is that about please ?
Usually, you would have applied for it before migrating to the US. Then when you arrive you receive the green card. Sometimes it can take months before it gets to you. In our case, ours was ready before we got here
Hello, am really enjoying your content. Am pursuing my dream of becoming USRN . Please, would really appreciate it if you could send me soft copy of NCLEX HIGH YIELD, thanks 🙏
This video was very informative, I have been able to come across some agencies that support newly qualified nurses to migrate to the US. Most of them would only want to support you if you’ve written the NCLEX exam already. Is it possible to write the exam individually without starting an application process yet?
Yes you can take the NCLEX individually but you need to start by getting your credentials evaluated (by CGFNS) without that you won’t get a CES report. Then secondly, degree or no degree, licensed in the uk or not you will still have to take the NCLEX. You can start these processes yourself without the help of a recruiter l
Thanks for watching, for the estimated cost, that will be a long calculation. Some points were enumerated in the video so that should give you a guide. I hope this helps🥰🥰
@@ogbomosandra7342 yes Sandra , if you're a midwife in Africa you can work in the US but an an RN and not RM because Midwifery is a postgraduate program in America. You go through the same process highlighted in this video but DO NOT use CGFNS for your credential evaluation, they will turn you down. Please use ERES. Google it and contact them .
