Bro kick ass your solution worked - thank you very much! I didn't have corrosion but I noticed my ac port was dirty so u used regular rubbing alcohol and BAM! Thanks again
Mine is brand new. I played it a couple of times and now it has a blinking grey and black screen that just blinks in and out. Just stopped working suddenly. Not sure if it's a bad av cord or a defective system all together. Any suggestions that may help. Thank you!
The video signal of my NES Mini turned on and off. I thought, my console was broken, but it seems like the NES Mini only works with an original Nintendo HDMI cable. My SNES Mini also works with other cables.
I have a no video issue and I took my NES Classic apart and i thought it had broken solder on the HDMI legs but im not sure. I resoldered all four legs and I still have to wiggle the HDMI cord to get it to work. It works better but still can't just turn it on and play it. I have to wiggle the HDMI cord.
Nicely done. I have a nes classic edition that is not powering on at all. I've tried other cords and stuff but it's not getting power. Where do you think I should start on a possible repair?
@@BradTratzinski I took top off to try to see because I was thinking the same but it looked ok so I phoned Nintendo to see if it was under warranty and it was so I sent it to them.
Have you worked on any of the bootlegged versions of the mini by chance? I have one that the screen comes on but its white with some blocks on it and the internals are alot smaller than the one in this video. Just trying to fix it for my kids to show them what I got to play when I was their age.
I connected a different micro usb cable because it was longer. (I did not want to be stuck close to the TV because of the short cables) .. and then suddenly the power light is on but the TV will not read. So frustrating. it wont connect to my computer either with Hackchi... nothing. Do you have any ideas. Thank you for your help

I know this isn't a Wii U based video but I had a question about an error code for the gamepad.(165-3423) nothing useful from Nintendo support or troubleshooting.gamepad comes on says an error has occurred and says to turn it off and back on and of coarse that a no go.Any suggestions?

Both my nes and snes mini have stopped working. I’ve barely used them. Really pissed off.

The power socket probably has damaged solder joints.

This bootleg version looks just like the original mini but it has the atari plug in for the controlers

Gcera12 have you tried the original cable?. Some third party cables may not work, especially cheap ones from say Walmart or a dollar store.
