The smartest way to have him loose weight. He had him do it incrementally as opposed to saying lose 50lbs which seems like such a big number but by saying only 10lbs it seems more attainable.
You are so right. Being a tank and rolling over people works in college and can get you into the league, but it usually means a short career unless you can adapt and evolve.
What's sadder, is that this generation wouldn't have accepted what Mosrs Malone was attempting to get across. You tell today's generation something, you're instantly a "HATER"...Absolutely pathetic.
Amen Bro. MOSES MALONE Was one of the most dominant inside players ever, he played power forward and center and was only 6-9, and one of the hardest workers ever and was a terror on the backboards, he also mentored Akeem Olajawon. One of the best of his era. But these young internet fans don't understand how good these guys from that era were, that's why when you look at these top 10 lists you always have players from 2000s and beyond and absolutely forget about the guys that built and made the game what it is today.
The sixers never win a title without Moses Malone, he won MVP of the finals he was a beast Dr j never gets a ring. None of them ever get a ring no matter how good that team was without Moses. Point blank & simple, cut & dry.
That's one of the biggest problems with the modern NBA. There aren't that many great elder statesmen in the game. Men who have the resume and prestige to challenge and motivate younger players.
He was a top Power Forward between 250-255 with Philly and Phoenix ... my favorite player ever .. have a section in my Sports room dedicated to him with his 1st Airforces and his Olympic Shoes along with all 3 Jerseys signed that he wore throughout is incredible 16 year career!! Sir Charles = Legend!! Rip Moses Malone! gone way too soon!!
I said the same before I scrolled down ad read this (almost... I didn't remember the #)... where Big Mo said thats not right, go back up to your prime #. Mo' was just trying to tune that engine and thankfully Chuck had a veteran who cared for the next to follow.
It cut short of Big Mo, having Chuck drop too low, telling him to go back up five or ten to his "ideal" playing weight... where Chuck still had the muscle mass, have the movement, but wasn't drained at that bottom side where he suffered physically.
83 sixers Best team ever.Period. 2 refs Physical No foot shuffling No carrying the ball No 3 steps down the lane No Flopping! Jordan didn't win nothing until Doc,Bird,Magic,Bernard King,Jabbar ECT got old and or retired. 1983 Philadelphia 76ers.Best Ever!
Zion need a Moses Malone! Problem is he's a young guy from Generation Lazy! Generation Lazy don't listen to no one, they can't take constructive criticism, and they will go against what works just to no do what a smart person suggested to them.
Charles Barkley: I got really fat so 76ers wouldn’t draft me: ruclips.net/video/UC0XOXvUpA4/видео.html
Moses Malone was the truth! R.I.P
The smartest way to have him loose weight. He had him do it incrementally as opposed to saying lose 50lbs which seems like such a big number but by saying only 10lbs it seems more attainable.
WoOow realLly? 🥴🥴
Brilliant
Zion needs a veteran like this
You are so right. Being a tank and rolling over people works in college and can get you into the league, but it usually means a short career unless you can adapt and evolve.
Yes, he does. Hopefully there's a nba vet on da Pels to help out Zion.
They to sensitive now they don't listen
@@septasnitch7551 facts
switch Zion's and Ingram's diet, you'll get 2 of the best guys in the league 😂
IT'S SAD that this younger generation doesn't even know WHO Moses Malone is or how great he actually was!!! I'm glad I got to see him and Dr J PLAY!!!

@@mrredd8439 there’s lazy people in every generation
Moses is top 15 all time. Better than dudes like Steph Curry.
@@Sticktothemodels Moses has nothing on curry. 4 rings.
Charles Barkley was a great player! I’m a Bulls fan and loved it when Barkley and the Suns played the Bulls in the NBA Finals! Great series!
Malone was an all time great!! A beast!
Zion needs good vets around him as well...
The sixers never win a title without Moses Malone, he won MVP of the finals he was a beast Dr j never gets a ring. None of them ever get a ring no matter how good that team was without Moses. Point blank & simple, cut & dry.

Big Mo will help you That sounds just like Moses Malone. I like that Chuck Pay your respect
I appreciate hearing that. He grew up in my neighborhood.
That's one of the biggest problems with the modern NBA. There aren't that many great elder statesmen in the game. Men who have the resume and prestige to challenge and motivate younger players.
That's not true. The problem is, if you say something the generation CRIES and then TWEETS.
@@mrredd8439 - I said ONE of the biggest problems...It's entirely possible for there to be more than one thing that is wrong with the league.

He was nickel and diming you. But it worked
I wish that he would have done the same thing for Oliver Miller he would have been an all-star especially with his basketball IQ .
He tried with Oliver Miller he didn't listen
Barkely one of best power forwards ever
Moses did the same to Akeem

Barkely needs to have a talk with zion Williams
That's real talk, for real life transformation.
Mo' was great!
Is sad that Moses Malone is not that popular globally I mean I had to start playing 2k to find out who is Moses Malone…❤

Good Man.
We used to call him the Round Mound of Rebound…😂
Those are the kinda dudes you need around. The ones that’ll tell you that you fat and lazy but then say “I’ll help you”
Charles Barkley… you are a real genuine human being who is as real can be. I salute you for being you.

Words you can trust from Big Mo!!! Great story.
I find everything Charles says interesting.
The round mound was rolling. 🏀 lol
Does that make you craaaaaaazy

Charles is the 1st basketball player with CTE😂
I can’t believe Charles was playing in the NBA at 6’5”, 290lbs. WOW.
It cut short of Big Mo, having Chuck drop too low, telling him to go back up five or ten to his "ideal" playing weight... where Chuck still had the muscle mass, have the movement, but wasn't drained at that bottom side where he suffered physically.
At 6’-6” I guess 290 is a little big for basketball..
Zion needs a Moses Malone in his life right now.
Big moe was a beast
